One of the best cafes I’ve been to, Setting and facilities clean and tidy. With plenty of seating, Staff very friendly, Breakfast portions were so big, none of our group was able to finish the meals. And the coffees were real good. Cost X4 people =$150+ Highly recommended You won’t be disappointed

A good friend recommended Kirk Café to us while we were visiting Hamilton, and we’re so glad we went! There’s plenty of parking right outside, and the café itself has lots of seating options, both indoor and outdoor, perfect for groups or families. The portion sizes are generous and great value for the price, and the coffee was excellent. We ordered the chicken burger, big breakfast, and cheese & bacon toastie, everything was delicious! The big breakfast was indeed big, with nice, thick, and crispy bacon. The chicken burger smelled amazing and tasted just as good. Overall, we really liked the café, great food, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Hamilton! Bonus as they are on first table!

I had the eggs Benedict with what the menu described as “lightly house-smoked dill salmon,” but it turned out to be a large chunk of cooked salmon fillet rather than smoked lox-style slices, which felt a bit odd for an eggs Benedict. The salmon was overcooked, dry, and lacked flavour, and the hollandaise sauce was also quite bland. My friend had the mushroom eggs Benedict, which was similarly lacking in flavour. We chose this place because of the great reviews but were disappointed with the food overall. The chai latte was very sweet even though we ordered it spicy, and the coffee wasn’t great either. Perhaps it was just an off day, as the atmosphere and service were okay. Overall, not worth the price.

Visited The Kirk Café in Hamilton and really enjoyed everything we tried — especially the sweet muffin, the pork & chorizo roll, and the samosa roll. You can tell the food is made fresh and with care. It is a little on the pricier side, but the quality definitely shines through. Cozy spot and tasty eats — worth a visit!

Flash looking food. Mixed taste. The Pulled pork Benedict was really tasty. French toast is probably the most complicated plate I have seen in a while, however flavours were a bit lacking. Smoothie was too sweet and really just a thickshake. Prices were up there for a cafe in suburbia. It is on the same site as a church so nothing that spectactular.

Nice place. My food was a bit salty, but the flavors were good. Raw beetroot didn't add anything much. They had a staffing crisis the day we were there, but they coped well despite this. The sweet treats looked amazing. And the cat was very friendly.

We drove from Tauranga and our friends drove from Auckland so we had high expectations. I ordered the famous French toast and loved it. It was like eating a work of art. Hubby had the eggs Benni and it looked incredible! Be prepared to spend a bit of money though.

Came here on Sunday and it was busy! There was a sign at the front till warning customers food is expected to take 40mins. I’ve looked at the prices of the menu … and it’s so expensive. If the restaurant was nicely renovated with nice menus with a logo and fonts that suggests a high class restaurant, then maybe I don’t mind paying $36 for big breakfast or $25.5 for a Bap. I paid $12.5 for a vegetarian samosa with the tiniest amount of tomato relish and a brush of aioli… the menu uses premium ingredient like “truffle oil” in their creamy mushroom, but still their environment, service, logo, advertisement doesn’t justify why I should pay $12.5 for a vegetarian samosa. Creamy mushrooms were $28.5 …. Just shocked how pricey it is …. But there were many customers coming in so I guess people don’t mind paying $$$ for an average brunch that you can elsewhere for a cheaper price. (Personal opinion) I know prices of produce has gone up and so did min wage… but still I’m not sure why it’s so expensive… maybe it’s just a Sunday menu that’s $$$, maybe on a weekday it’s cheaper ? Regardless, I don’t recommend this place unless you don’t mind paying an average of $25-35 for a dish

One of the best cafes I have eaten in Hamilton. Good food with very minute detailing. Excellent presentation I tried the avocado toast which was delicious infact I really like the pickle cauliflower and spicy dukkah it lifted the whole dish. Bright and fresh colours the dish really stand out to me. Well done team Kirk we would definitely be back.

One of the best cafe i found when i was looking for something for breakfast. Lovely place with lots of dining space and parking space. Very well organised, food was excellent and outstanding service. The lady owner is so sweet and friendly. Special Thanks to her for the recommendation Tried their Avocado on toast, Eggs on toast, mini breakfast special. Everything was outstanding and mouth watering. Portion size is amazing one plate good for one person. Not only the food the coffee is also superb. I usually have Mocha in morning which I usually get the smell of burnt coffee in most of the cafe but here it was made to perfection with exact amount of coffee, milk and chocolate. Very thing is very lovely. Must visit. Will visit again when back in Hamilton.
