   The folks here are absolutely wonderful, even with an old-timer like me! I just found the most delightful, brilliant pair of gloves for my e-bike commute to work—what pure joy! While they worked their magic fixing my walking pole for the Bridal Path, I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear. For such a youthful team, they possess an incredible wealth of advice to share! It’s such a delight to be around such vibrant, positive energy!

   I didn't have a great experience. I like Macpac, I have a bunch of Macpac stuff. Went into the Northlands store on Thursday night, i knew exactly what i wanted to look at. 2 sales attendants behind the counter. 1 serving another customer, fair enough. The other one on the phone, it did not sound business related. Faffed around for a bit until the attendant not on the phone could show me where the softshell jacket was that i wanted to look at. Jackets werent quite right which is neither here nor there but i was largely met with disinterest from the sales staff, which was a bit annoying. Didn't buy anything. ## postscript - bought a perfectly functional soft shell jacket at the Warehouse for less than half the sale price of the macpac one

   Fantastic service (on Tuesday morning & afternoon this week 21/9/22 )from the hard working staff. Nothing was a problem while they helped with gear choices and clothing sizes etc. well done all of you. Much better knowledge and well staffed compared to other camping/hiking stores in chch. ☺️ Also great bargains and fantastic products.

   I can’t complain about the service in here. There isn’t any. Guy behind the counter grunted something at me when I first walked in and that was it. Was a time MacPac staff use to go out of their way to help. Guess this is what happens when businesses care so little for their reputations. They export their manufacturing to China and the wheels fall off quality and customer service. Guess you have to look after those shareholders though.
