I would like to raise a concern regarding an elderly male shop assistant who has been working at the store for a considerable amount of time. A few years ago, I had an unpleasant experience with him due to his disrespectful and unreasonable behavior towards me. At that time, I was only a poor student and I don’t have much money. So I had to pay for his rude discrimination and unreasonable behavior. Despite paying for his attitude, I hoped that the store had replaced him. However, during today’s visit, my partner and I were greeted by him again. As I thought, he Immediately questioned our budget in a loud and intrusive tone. Even after explaining that we were not sure about our budget and just wanted to browse, he kept pressing us for a specific amount. Eventually, we mentioned that we had spent $500 on a mattress and bed a few years ago, but he dismissed it by stating that things have changed, and 500 is no longer enough. When we clarified that we just wanted to check if there anything that we like, we don’t have a budget, just because we are happy to pay for what we like. we are willing to spend up to $2000 if we like. After heard that he continued to repeat that we don't have a budget and he couldn't help us, and they are the cheapest shop here they don’t have $2000 bed balabalabala. Even though English is his first language, he seems like don’t understand my words. So I would like to ask the store some questions here. Firstly, if you want to help me, please provide me with the help I want, instead of constantly forcing me to say the budget and then saying that I can't help when I don't have a budget. So in here do I necessarily need to bring money to your store? Do I have to consume when I go to your store? Who do you provide services for? For money? For the customer or for vent emotions? I don't care if this rude employee's life is difficult, and I don't care what his position is. It is obvious that his position allows him to brazenly insult us. I can even say it's discrimination against us. I wonder if he has the same attitude towards Kiwi customers? We spend money to buy your services and goods. Instead of filling oneself with grievances and doubts. I believe that the role of a shop assistant is to assist customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience, not to harass them for their budget or discriminate against them based on their perceived spending power. It is unacceptable to force customers to reveal their budget repeatedly and then dismiss them when they don't meet a certain threshold. I don't expect an apology or compensation for my experience, but I won't be returning to the store for future purchases. As a paying customer, I believe that I should be treated with respect and courtesy. I would appreciate it if the store could take appropriate actions to ensure that their employees provide quality service to all customers, regardless of their background or budget. Thank you for your service and help, and I will sincerely recommend you to my friends. If their lives are very happy, I will tell them to come to you to endure the hardships. thank you again.
