Such an informative and interesting walk around the beautiful city of Christchurch. Our guide Sam was very informative and made for an interesting walk. A perfect introduction to the city of Christchurch NZ.
We only had a day in Christchurch so we decided to do this walking tour for the morning. Sam was excellent in showing us around and recommending places to eat lunch after the tour. Such a beautiful city and well worth the two hours we spent.

We were in Lake Tekapo en route to Christchurch when a campsite neighbor suggested we go on the walking tour of the city, and we are glad we did! Simon was super knowledgeable and personable, the day was beautiful, and the walking tour felt manageable. It is a great way to get your bearings of a city, and it felt easy to navigate and very walkable/bikeable (the central area at least). After tepid reviews from kiwis around the country, I wasnβt expecting much, but Christchurch was a pleasant surprise!
Really enjoyed the two hour walking tour around Christchurch city. Tour guide Simon was super friendly and had great local knowledge, providing plenty of informative commentary in regards to MΔori culture, the earthquakes and the cityβs history. Well worth it if even if youβre a local!
The tour was great, we toured with a smaller group and Simon, the tourguide, knew a lot about the city and had an answer to all of our questions, if you have 2 hours to spare in Christchurch itβs most definitely worth it to do the tour! You meet lots of new people and get to know the city a little better

The tour was very informative and took ca. 2 hours covering the most important places and dates in the history of Christchurch, Canterbury and New Zealand. Simon gave us good advice where to go and what to do. For me as a non-native English speaker, I clearly understood him. He always made sure everybody is comfortable. Highly recommended!
