   We spent 3 nights here in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was a great location , easy walking distance to the Cathedral , Town Hall & shopping area of Christchurch CBD. The apartment was clean and very well equipped for our needs. Each apartment is allocated secure off street parking with no extra fees. The staff were very efficient and helpful and I have no hesitation with a 10/10 recommendation for this property. We shall return.

   A lovely little 1 bedroom apartment was great for a 2 night stay . Very clean, easy to get too. Clos to the Art Gallery and the Convention Centre. Kitchen was very well equipped. Apartment had everything you needed.

   The West Fitzroy Apartments are in a nice quiet area of Christchurch within an easy walk of the Botanical Gardens, New Regent Street and the Christchurch city centre in general. The Quake Centre and the Christchurch Tram stop are right across the road. Our 2 bedroom family apartment was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Unlike most hotels, our apartment was brightly lit and the kitchen was equipped a combination oven/microwave, a stove top, a dishwasher, a nice big fridge, and every conceivable utensil (I've never seen such a variety of utensils provided in any other serviced apartment I've stayed in). Although there's only one air conditioning unit in the living area, it was enough to keep the whole apartment comfortably warm. Fans were provided in each bedroom to aid with air circulation, but as it was winter we didn't need to use them. Plenty of storage space in each room was provided for all your stuff. Our apartment was on the third floor, which meant easy and direct access to the secure car park (without having to go up or down), and every apartment has its own allocated space. Unfortunately that level of the car park was the top level, which meant a frosted up car in the morning, but that's easily resolved with a bit of (cold) water. Checkout procedure is easy and reasonable - take out the trash and put it in the bins downstairs, and drop the keycards off in the key return box behind reception if they aren't open when you check out. We would not hesitate to book accommodation here again the next time we are in Christchurch. Thank you West Fitzroy Apartments!

   I stayed at West Fitzroy Apartments for three nights in May, 2025. My apartment was lovely. Had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The in-apartment washer and dryer were an unexpected and welcome feature. Walking distance to Victoria Square and the Botanical Gardens. Jackson Tu, the Reservations Manager was very helpful. I highly recommend the West Fitzroy Apartments to any visitor to Christchurch!

   We stayed here for a week in February 2023 in a one bedroom apartment. The place was neat, clean and pleasant. The apartment was on the smaller side, but OK for two people. After hours arrival arrangements were simple and easy to manage. Appliances all worked as expected. Location is handy, quiet enough with parks nearby, but only a short walk to the city centre. The Christchurch Hop on Hop off Tram goes right past the front door. The compendium says most rooms are equipped with an independently controlled air conditioner. Ours was not, although the in wall heater did a good job. The bed and lounge were both comfortable. Good wifi is included with both download and uploads speeds around 300 Mbps. You’ll find Netflix provided too. Parking is secure and spaces easy enough to access. Many, but not all, parking spaces are undercover.

   The meanest most unkind place in Christchurch. I came to town for a funeral and choose this place as I have stayed here previously. Reception was rude and rushed me to make payment so they could finish work early and then he tells me they don’t take eftpos cards as per company policy yet I was using the same card I had used previously. They left me with no where to stay on a public holiday where everything is booked and wouldn’t even let me charge my phone. After the most stressful week of my life I just burst into tears which the man on reception seemed to find funny. So to the rude man on reception and PETER THE MANAGER - in a world where you can be anything you choose to be cruel and unkind. Thank you for making one of the hardest times of my life just a little bit harder.

   a very decent service apartment. The service team is very helpful and friendly. We stayed at a two-bedded superior room and it was maintained and clean. Enjoyed the gym and its facilities thought it is small. Amazingly that though our room is facing the street but it was quiet and we all slept well during our three-night stay. The best part is the location is just in the city centre and very convenient and accessible to the CBD. Also close to the Botanical Garden. This will be our first choice whenever we visit Christchurch. Thank you for the kind service!

   We booked the West Fitzroy Apartments when needing a four-night apartment stay in central Christchurch and got a great deal when booking online. The location was impeccable for our needs, so close to the city center with everything we wanted walkable on-foot. There were at first some instructions sent to me via email for how to collect our keys after hours, but we arrived in time to be greeted by the friendly receptionist, whom I saw several times during the stay and always seemed to be in good spirits. The room itself was close to being perfect; very clean, plenty of storage space for our things, the kitchenette well-equipped for all kinds of cooking with the utensils and crockery provided. The only letdown was that there was no table suitable for dining at, the one side table far too narrow for eating unless one was dining solo facing the wall. However the bed was comfortable, the shower hot. If anything we noticed the room seemed to get a bit warm / stuffy but this was soon remedied by opening the window. Would definitely be comfortable during cold winter months staying here. I had reason to use the gym facility provided here and I found it very good for an apartment-stay, there were two cardio machines, a multiple-station weight machine as well as a decent selection of free weights. Anyone could get a decent workout here. The car park was secure and we had no problem parking in our designated bay for the whole stay. It really did end up feeling like a home away from home and we have already have had thoughts of using the West Fitzroy Apartments again for a planned revisit to Christchurch next year.

   Very friendly staff when we checked in. Great little room with all the amenities we needed, plus a coffee plunger!! Room was a little warm and had to leave the sliding door open at night. Was so close to everything we needed, never had to take the car anywhere!! Very secure! My husband left a sports coat there and they went above and beyond to get it back to us. Thank You so much and well done, there are still good things that happen in this world!
