Excellent service, helpful suggestions where they looked to understand what whiskeys I liked and what I was wanting to try. I.e. looking for something at a price point or wanting a good example of a style. Gave me a couple of tastings to help determine which bottle to buy.
We did a private whiskey tasting this afternoon and we had such a great time. This store has always exceeded our expectations around customer service and today was no exception. Our server was knowledgeable and entertaining. Went the extra mile and shared his love of whiskey with us. Would highly recommend a visit and a whiskey tasting with the team here. We did this as a birthday treat but I no longer need the excuse and look forward to booking another tasting in again soon.
Amazing place. Amazing staff. So friendly. Their knowledge and ideas are outstanding. Been there twice in last month to get gifts for people. Been in a wheelchair. Doors open if you unbolt smaller side door, but I said to save the hassle of opening side door just do vouchers and serve me outside. The guy laughed at my comment to save his hassle. He said no way, we will help you in, no problem. Was treated with humour, respect and spent more as a result. Absolutely recommend 100%. Will be back. Thank you team.
Very good customer service, they even went the 2nd mile to help me transport it overseas. Friendly & respectful. Would shop there again as they have good variety.
This is such an incredible store and whisky tasting event holder. From the most extensive collection of whiskys, to monthly tasting events and the bi annual Dramfest, the team are going to completely look after you. I find their warmth and service second to none - their steerage always on point. Dramfest 2025 was my 3rd and best yet. A must for whisky lovers and something for everyone. A huge feat to pull this off for over 1000 people each day. Team Whisky Galore, thank you. You are a truly amazing bunch and I am grateful for all you offer. Now time to get back into the shop for next dram!

Absolutely fantastic. Well looked after by Daniel. Grabbed a couple of rarities and hard to find, in Australia, from them. Enjoyed some Kilchoman tastings. It was the only place I was really looking forward to in Christchurch and I wasn’t let down.
Fantastic knowledgeable staff. The Scottish lady who looked after us was absolutely brilliant, so kind (even though we were absolute novices) and so patient. By far the best service I’ve ever gotten at a liquor shop. We got to do some tastings and were taught the main differences between whiskeys. Lovely experience and will be back if we ever go to Christchurch again. I hope she sees this and if you do, come visit me on Waiheke!
