I was visiting Christchurch the week before Christmas. I had gone to Ten Pin Bowling with the friends I was staying with. Definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend it. And the staff were professional, and communicated well
Our group had a wonderful time at Archie Bros across a few activities but the ten pin bowling was a highlight and made very enjoyable with the amazing service and help from staff member and host kaydence. She made our out of town group very welcome and it was much appreciated. Thanks Kaydence and Archie bros see you next time.
Hats off to an employee, Harper completely!! My friend and I came down for a weekend and basically spent both evenings here purely because Harper made our time there unforgettable!!!!! She made sure our drinks were amazing, food was delicious, our golf games hilarious and the arcade games working! (We had a couple not work on us lol) I really thank Harper for her hospitality towards us and cannot hope and pray enough that she's there next time we're down here. Popped in for a spot of ten pin bowling and a beer on a wet and wild Sunday in Christchurch. Had a blast, they have a great setup here and I’ll definitely be back soon. James Ashwin
We came in for a game of bowling. Had a good time. Staff took a little while to serve at the bar and drinks looked a little different to what was shown on the menu but they still tasted good. Good value if you get a grabone voucher. A few arcade games to play afterwards too.
Went bowling here today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Friendly warm customer service. Tasty food and good selection of drinks. Alcoholic and non alcoholic. Definitely recommend and plenty of other activities at the facility to enjoy if ten pin bowling isn't your thing
Went here for my daughter's birthday to play a round of bowling & enjoy the arcade. We booked bowling online for a time but still had to wait past our booked time to be able to play, we were told we could wait in the bar area but that didn't feel so appropriate with 3 children so we stood in the lobby waiting, It was our first ever visit here. It's a massive place, good music but with the music being so loud and then on top of that kids being even louder it wasn't that pleasurable for myself whom has tinnitus I was very overwhelmed by all the noise, yes one expects noise but this was just extreme. The bowling lanes look flash, but the pins on strings were weird and created pins to fall over due to being hit by the strings instead of from the ball and many times the pins would keep flopping around and leave us waiting to play wondering if we were actually at a puppet show. I brought x3 arcade cards, and somehow, one wasn't loaded. Thank goodness it was rectified as there were no recipts to prove what I'd purchased. It's a cool place, and although we semi enjoyed our visit, I don't think we would go again.
So much fun! Would definitely recommend going as soon as they open or after 7 pm as it gets super busy. It's kid free from 8.30pm, so I would suggest that time to go as we had a few kids walking over the minigolf course while we were trying to play.
What a lovely venue for our work social club evening... We were greeted by a Hot dog host outlining our 2 hours of bowling food options how the bar works where to get our bowling shoes and tap cards on the activity machines. Lovely busy evening and lots of fun and atmosphere..thanks so much
Great venue for playing bowling, having a drink and having an overall good time! The arcade machines are okay, I think timezone currently has better ones although that may change later~ I highly recommend this place - super cool atmosphere ☺️
