Seriously? "the baby factory"? Isn't it time they revisited that naming choice? Staff are always lovely, not ever any issues with them.

Today I went to Rotorua store and I choose a blanket to buy. Then I asked a lady for exchange. She was very rude. It was 1st time, I felt very bad and then I decided not to go for exchange. Because I don't want to have same experience with that lady. Very bad customer service
I had a bad experience in the store I've been shopping there for many years. The Asian lady was very rude. You've lost a valid customer there are plenty more baby stores in Rotorua. Sad but rude assistants do not sell products.
I had a very unpleasant experience at this store today while shopping for children’s products. I was looking at shoes for my child and asked the staff about sizing, but the response was impatient and dismissive, as if they didn’t want to listen to me. Perhaps my communication wasn’t very fluent, but as a salesperson, they should be more professional and patient. The sizing advice I received was completely inaccurate. I asked whether the shoes were too small, and the staff insisted they weren’t because my child “wasn’t old enough” for that size. However, every child grows differently. When I tried the shoes on my child, their heel couldn’t even fit in properly, yet the staff still claimed the shoes were actually a bit big. When I finally managed to get my child’s heel inside, the shoes were clearly too tight. It was obvious that the staff was not giving me genuine or helpful advice. On top of that, their attitude towards my child was cold and unfriendly. They had a stern face the entire time and didn’t smile at all. For a store that specializes in children’s products, basic courtesy and customer service should be expected. What’s even worse is that this older saleswoman has repeatedly received complaints and bad reviews for her poor attitude, yet nothing has ever changed. It’s clear that The Baby Factory does not take customer feedback seriously. I am very disappointed.

My first visit I was really impressed. But my second visit I felt completely judged, to the point I don't want to go back. Staff were rude and talking about me like I couldn't hear them. Embarrassment to Baby Factory
Pretty good store, however clothing racks are tightly packed, so it is quite difficult to navigate a stroller around. Good range of stock, something for everyone's budget. The clothing is good value for money. Staff are a bit hit and miss, but I have encountered some very friendly ladies there with helpful suggestions; they also carried my newly purchased stroller to my car when I was pregnant.
