I think I found my new hair salon! Gemma is an absolute miracle worker. Very detail oriented. She understood exactly what I wanted. Be it the haircut or gloss. Bit pricey for students but total worth it. Will be back for colour. Also amazing was Diane, a beauty consultant. Highly recommend both ladies ☺️ Went back to Gemma today - as always, she nailed it!
I have been getting my hair bleached by Briar for the last year and a half. She is so welcoming and always makes me feel comfortable and I have never once walked out unhappy. I would 10/10 recommend this salon, they are all so welcoming and it’s such a beautiful space ❤️
Got my haircut done by Gemma at Surreal Hair Salon and I couldn’t be happier! She made sure I was completely comfortable and really listened to how I wanted my hair. So warm, friendly, and easy to chat with, it was such a lovely experience. I absolutely love the cut, it’s perfect! Definitely going back to her again.
Briar did a fantastic job on my cut and full hair of foils. It was my first time using this salon after my normal hairdresser closed shop and I was very impressed. Everyone was very welcoming. I’ve now moved to Auckland but if I ever come back I’ll definitely come see Briar again.
Great first experience at Surreal Hair. The customer service was exceptional right from making the booking over the phone. I was impressed with the effort made to find out what I was looking for so best to match me with the right stylist. I found the salon fresh and inviting and it had nice relaxing vibe. My stylist was the lovely Gemma, who again impressed me with her exceptionally warm and friendly customer service and a great new hairstyle. Ive tried many Christchurch salons over over the years and this has by far been the best experience for customer service and great workmanship from a stylist. Thanks Surreal - see you in 8 weeks.
Surreal is an amazing salon. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I like to go super bold with colour and they are always willing to meet my colour dreams! As a strong believer in protecting our environment, I like that the salon has a sustainability aspect to how they operate. Would highly recommend Surreal Hair.
Friendly, professional service. I always feel well taken care of when getting my hair done. Each stylist is great at explaining each step and making sure you are comfortable with the process. Enjoy a good hot drink while there too. Highly recommend this place!
Couldn’t recommend enough. My Colourist and Stylist know my hair so well - I completely trust their opinion and approach. Im not super confident in my hair, but always leave feeling amazing. The Salon is gorgeous but still a super friendly and comfortable vibe - love my visits.
