   Old school Barber , at last someone who can do a 1950s Hair cut , absolutely BRILLIANT, and the music playing was just fabulous, no modern rubbish playing , just good ol credence , stones , hollies , rock n roll etc , very hard to sit still when your foot is taping constantly. Thanks Craig for the music , haircut and great conversation, DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED AAA+++

   Today I went there for the first time. I asked if it was open, and the guy told me, “It’s 4:30 and we’re closing,” but then asked what type of service I wanted. I explained what I needed, and he said, “Okay, I’ll do it for you.” He was a friendly and genuine person, and we had a little chat while I was getting the service. He was very professional and provided me with excellent service. I did think the price was slightly high — I paid $33. I’m not sure if that’s the regular price or if it was because it was close to closing time. But overall, I received very good service. Thank you.

   First haircut there today, the barber is friendly, asked how I wanted my hair then did a very professional and very good cut, with some friendly chat, and his prices are the cheapest around. He will be my barber from now on. Thanks very much. Better ask the price first, I had several hair cuts there then he put the price up when I went to pay, he should have told me before he started so I could choose whether I wanted it. I don't like this type of practice so I now go to a barber and pay only $22 for a great cut and no cheating. Be careful!

   Very welcomed, Craig was very friendly and professional. Had been looking for a place to cut my hair for days. Glad I found him tucked in a little building (via Google). Would definitely return if I stayed in New Brighton, but unfortunately just passing by.

   I am a transgender nonbinary person and cutting my hair is always the most terrifying ordeal. I never know if a barber is going to be transphobic, or cut my hair in a feminine way specifically after I request it not to be based on my appearance. However, can't fault these guys. They were so lovely, talked to me about my worries and actually assured me that one of their wives is actually my nurse at my trans-friendly healthcare center! Have never felt so reassured in a barbers seat that I was going to be okay and receive the cut I want. Thank you for opening your service to me and making me feel safe.
