    I head this up as... 'When Paid Don't Expect Any After Sales Help...' 1x stars for the overall initial friendly promise of quick remedy for my parts replacement to my fridge door tray, over the phone by the manager. I chose this company against another in proximity, as it sounded like he was going to look into sorting my tray as another option, instead of replacement. Upon getting there, I found a very poor customer service, unlike that of our initial telephone conversation. Also an abruptness with commands like "We're doing one thing at a time...., and also no more thinking outside the square, even though I had already duck taped the other side of the same tray, which was successful (maybe I should've kept to that, but this idea of mine was dismissed by him, as it looks unsightly, but who cares? The fridge was bought 2nd Hand at an Opp Shop by me)". I duly paid which probably discounts me from entering my further comments, however I was informed at the time of purchase at shop, that the replacement tray was new, and over the phone initially also. The other store parts place in proximity was same price, being that of $30. I returned home and then inquired of the 'new' tray that it isn't brand new as stated x2, as it's clearly marked. That's when I noticed there is no comeback guarantee under CGA, at this establishment and comments like, I cannot guarantee the condition or etc. (Wow!). As now it appears to me as the consumer, that it's sold in an as-is where-is condition, meaning also no after sale(s) service assistance, as he has my money, frankly put and just like the earlier abruptiveness from shop manager, no friendliness, that first appeared very helpful and friendly, over the phone initially, hence why I went there. This subsequent phone call was ended abruptly, by the store, without a goodbye... etc. So, I went back inside my home and thought to just go with the flow. I went to take my old fridge bulb out and then replace with new supplied to me at $15 as marked in vivid by the store, of which over the phone just prior/before, the manager said, just before hanging up on me, "I did sell you the bulb at $15, where it's usually $25." Hmmmm? I found the new bulb to be completely different in shape. I couldn't wind it into the fridge input area. So, I called him back, and said "Sorry to bother you again Sir, about the bulb". Then he hung up! I called back again, and he, nor their answer phone, answered me! When I sell, for instance on Trademe, I inform the buyer, pedantically, as to the condition, etc, thereof. I found this out though, post purchase, which I can live with, "That they're not available new." I found it to be a forceful bossy seller. Upon/after posting this review, I went back to see if any edit needed, then I saw the other reviews, had I, I would not have opted to go to this place of business, and opted for the other, which more than likely, would've been brand new. Sounded friendlier too. So, in closing, there was to a point some helpfulness in part from the shop manager, but he also kept my old tray, without asking me one way or the other, yes it may well end in property red bin, but that choice too, was taken away from me. I can report that I managed to call him back later, there were no return phone calls from him in-between for that matter, and he answered, so I said to him. "I have left you a review." Then I hung up on him. Feel important for me to stand up to poor customer service.

    I sold them an excellent condition dryer, took them two days to test . A further day to contact me back later in afternoon, paid less than asked for. A further day and phone calls to get some indication when I would be paid, got told to wait for their secretary Eventually, got an angry response from them when I made a follow up call to simply ask for payment.still no payment received. Dissatisfied with service and customer service.

    Disappointed. Bought a freestanding electric oven which has a 12 month warranty and when electrician installed we found faulty control panel. I called the technician which came out promptly next day and diagnosed the fault. Technician was to inform the manager to ring me. The manager never ever made contact one month on still no contact from the manager sorry absolutely not good enough. Will never ever deal with these guy again. If you sort this I will remove negative feedback. Your call. Very disappointed still no reply from the manager. I strongly suggest do not deal with this business

    Martin Fox works for cares appliances and now Refresh Appliances as a workshop service repairman, His reviews are conflict of interest to the business very disappointed and i wouldnt use this service ever as they are rip off con artists. Cares went into liquidation for a reason because Matt the owner is a shifty slimey con artist aswell. Also second hand parts they use are normally only to last the warranty period then costs fall onto the consumer. Thats how these places sting you more. Always buy new will. Last long and not cost you as much in the long run!!
