   I do not have a single bad thing to say about this dentistry clinic, coming from someone who hasn’t visited a dentist in over 5years due to previous experiences. Every person I dealt with from the receptionist, hygienist, dentist assistant and to the dentist himself, I had a very pleasant experience and thank them for handling with care. From a person who suffers from anxiety with medical clinics, I can highly recommend this practice

   Good experience. Appointment was with David. He advised me on what my options are two years after having had a tooth extracted in South America. He took an X-ray and even offered me a lead apron to wear to protect my thyroid glands. He also took a 3D photo of all my teeth so we can compare on my next visit. Later I asked about getting my front teeth straightened and he said it's up to me but that he would advise against it (David seems to have high ethical standards as demonstrated by NOT recommending I come back for expensive cosmetic work). 5 star service. Highly recommend. Also the bill was reasonable. I was expecting it to be more.

   I have been looking for a while for a dentist who not only looks at overall health of my teeth but how oral hygiene can effect the body and I found it! Honestly so impressed with David and the team, he took his time explaining how the different processes work and how the ecosystem of the oral microbiome works in your mouth. It was just so refreshing to hear someone who is so passionate about what they do. The staff were lovely! Thank you so much! Never thought I would say this to a dentist but looking forward to my next appointment!

   The receptionist and dentist were very nice and accomodating, but unfortunately I left with the dentist saying I might need potential fillings. Then I moved locations and showed my xrays to another dentist who said I had severe tooth decay and needed four fillings. I am disappointed the dentist at Merivale did not mention this as I could have needed a root canal on one of my teeth if I had left it any longer. I also paid $120 and this didnt include a cleaning. Bit disappointed and although I appreciated at the time the dentist at Merivale not wanting to drill my teeth, it did in fact need to be done.

   Came here as it was Southern Cross affiliated, got a quote over the phone for check up and was quoted no more than $40-$60 with Southern Cross. The dentist was lovely and so were reception staff but Southern Cross quote was inaccurate (ended up being $79 for just a check up) and my hygienist appointment wasn't booked in either so had to go elsewhere for that.

   Best dental practice I have ever been to, David is excellent, he takes his time, being gentle and making sure you are ok, at first I had a huge fear of dentists, so bad that I had to be put on medication before hand. After a few months working with David I now haven't had medication in years. He has helped me go from destroyed teeth at a young age to a now adult with fresh healthy teeth. I can't thank this practice enough for the things they help me with. It's a warm and nice approach walking into this dentist, it's very unlike the typical hospital feeling practice. Thanks again.
