Loved the empanadas so much we had to get more :) We especially liked the mushroom and corn, the coffee was balanced and done so well with oat milk. Owner was friendly and recommended us various sights in the South Island. Thank you for the hospitality.
This wee place is great , lovely menu with empanadas , Buddha bowls (lentils and mushroom hell yeah!) , and their own home made oat milk flat whites . Hot chocolate with secret spice mix! Chris is a lovely chatty fella too. Think I’ll be a regular. Check it!
Probably my favourite vegan place now, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is amazing. Food portions are super filling, and very good value for money. The owner is super friendly and always up for a chat. He remains enthusiastic and happy no matter the situation, an all around great guy! Will definitely be back again and again, cannot recommend enough. Keep up the good work Veg'n Friends.

Very nice vegan Latin inspired cafe with super friendly owner and some good options of vegan and vegetarian bites for dine in or take away. If you are super hungry I’d recommend burrito which is very tasty. For a quick bite empanadas are quite good. Home made sauces are delicious and yummy. The only improvements are coffee which is very strong and sour not for everyone’s taste and vegan cheese added by default into most of options , which not everyone likes. Otherwise the atmosphere that owner creates with relaxed Chilean vibes is really worth coming back.
The food was delicious! The man who served us was super friendly and gave some great tips of things to do. Street burrito was great with lots of sauce!
Found this little gem by coincidence. Chris is super friendly and super polite, the food is awesome. I like the whole concept, you can also buy vegan yogurt and milk, the taste is super delicious and the prices are great. I was searching for a very long time for a place like this, highly recommended!!! At the weekends, there’re also a life band, relaxing, drinking a great coffee and just enjoy the good music. I like that idea, keep going. UPDATE: Two days ago I tested the Burrito “Veg’ the Red”, Spanakopita and the Empanadas. And what should I say, they’re awesome and super tasty, I love all of them. Try the sauces they have three different types and its serves well even with the Spanakopita. It’s a pity that I don’t have unlimited space in my belly:)) I also love their own made vegan yogurt, I buy them now weekly. There is a new menu, I will upload it also. Update 19.03.21: You need to try their own made mango lassi, its the best. Caramel Slice is super delicious
This is my favorite vegan cafe in chch. Super delicious vegan food and coffee! Ecpecially the Berry tart is absolutly fantasic! The staff is very kind and friendly. I've been there four times so far. And they always have new menu! It's so exciting! Highly recommend!
