   Home sweet home. There's more to Huntly than the back of the shops and a railway track, there's a fresh water lake on the west and here on the east side Hakanoa lake surrounded by a beautiful walkway and bird life. There are different gardens and an outdoor cathedral, playgrounds, a pleasure for all the family!

   Great walk, well maintained. Clean tidy. Some interesting areas. If you enjoy a lake walk this is nice though the lake itself is fairly shallow so not that pretty, 4 stars, one off for the lake itself being average.

   It's a nice flat walk with a well maintained path. A few dogs on the walk. Plenty of parking and pretty vistas even on a grey day.
