Faye and her staff are amazing with our dogs. We have 2 rescues with issues but they have transformed into 2 different dogs since going to the Waikato Boarding Kennels K9 school and they love it there. We have no hesitation leaving them for holidays or short stays when we are away.
Our dog although 6 years old had never been to a boarding kennel before & these lovely folks took/take (she's now on 3rd visit) great care of her. Messages & photos all show a very happy dog. Highly recommend.
My dog has stayed here at the kennels multiple times and regularly attends K9 school. Iris loves coming here. Faye and the team are amazing and really care for the animals in their care.
First time there yesterday - what an awesome facility! Dogs had a blast! Was wonderful for mildly reactive dog to have her own space & time to just have fun. Puppy was great with trying the agility equipment. And our senior gent did his usual wander around enjoying the smells. We will definitely be back.
We live in Palmerston North, but we drove to Auckland airport, rather than fly, so that we could leave our dog with Faye and her fantastic staff - that is how highly we rate them. Faye is so dedicated and has such skill with (and love for) dogs. Even though she is a rescue dog who had been abandoned, Bonnie settled well and we received pictures and videos of her playing snd smiling. Big thanks to Faye and her staff. The long drive was worth it!
Faye and the Team take exceptional care of our furry friend. This is the only kennels to go over and above what is expected and the only one we trust with Luna's care after trying many in the past. Awesome team.
About a year ago I was recommended WBKAC from people within the animal welfare industry. I don't trust many people to look after and care for my dogs. So am very grateful I found the team here. It means I can enjoy time away knowing my dogs are in safe hands. Faye the owner has a sound understanding of dog welfare and training, both from a physical and mental standpoint. I see Faye mentor her staff and now Jazmyn is an accomplished trainer in her own right. I trust this team whole heartedly with my dogs. I use their boarding facilities as well as K9 school. K9 School gives dogs an important foundation. One day a week has made a massive difference to my dogs. My dogs have learnt • To be relaxed with other dogs around. • Controlled play - learning social queues • Routine • Mental stimulation I get to see photos of my dogs enjoying their time here. I would recommend anyone using these services to really make the most of the recommendations, advice and knowledge from the team
I have used Waikato kennel for more than a year and I am very happy with their service, the owner Faye is amazing and easy to approach, but one of their staff(I didn’t catch her name), she has no manners at all when she talks to the customer. It totally puts me off and I have decided to find another daycare for my pup.
I have boarded both my dogs at Waikato Boarding Kennels and Cattery and have found Faye and her staff to be nothing but accomodating, friendly and above all attentive to both me and my dogs needs. In fact, I have been so impressed I also enrolled my younger dog into the k9 school and have been so impressed with the training they have done with her. I have and will continue to recommend Faye and her staff to friends and families as I trust them whole heartedly with my dogs!
