Absolutely would not recommend this company. Several of our tables were damaged during the move, and the movers themselves told us to contact management for reimbursement. After doing exactly that, we were informed that because the value of the damage was “below the excess,” they wouldn’t take any responsibility.
From our very first contact with Conroy Removals, the experience was outstanding. We initially approached them for a quote to move my Dad out of his sold house, store his furniture for a month, and then deliver it all to his new home. I cannot recommend Conroy Removals highly enough. Every aspect of our interaction with them was an absolute pleasure. Their attention to detail, clear communication, and comprehensive insurance options were all first-class. The team who packed my Dads belongings showed 100% care and attention, handling every item with professionalism and respect. A month later, when everything was unpacked in his new home, the same high standard was evident. The whole process was seamless. What stood out most was the team’s professionalism, helpfulness, and genuinely positive attitude. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made what could have been a stressful time feel easy and well-managed. Wow we have just had the most fabulous experience with the team from Conroys. Christine came to look at what we had, and understood what we needed. We very promptly received a detailed list of what we were moving and a quote. The Packing team arrived and all had a clear area of responsibility and everything was packed very carefully. The moving team were a great bunch of guys who worked very hard over 3 days to load the containers and then unpack us at our new home. They were professional and took great care of everything. Conroy was amazing to deal with! They were prompt and really handled our items with a lot of care. They were really fast and prompt in unloading the boxes and furniture. I would definitly use them again!
The removal guys were great. Very hard working and took care of our possessions. However I have two criticisms. Firstly the truck was late arriving on moving day, causing friction with the new owners moving in when we were still moving out. I was given a false excuse by the Manager that they had health and safety stop work meeting that morning. I was told by the moving guys that the truck had not been emptied the previous night. So the meeting was not true. Secondly, the blankets used were extremely dusty, leaving dust over our furniture. The Manager was not very professional to deal with. He was too casual on follow up.
Found the boys very friendly careful and well organized, which made the moving feel like a breeze....would have no problems recommending them to future client....with the off load at our new hone, they had to deal with several issues, (location, weather),but they did it with no complaint and did a wonderful job
Super friendly and on time. Reasonably priced compared to the other moving companies. Had a 2 day move, pick up one day and delivery the next. Something happened overnight. Many of my items were trashed. Wheels snapped off my grandmother's drop leaf table. Bottom of the new sofa ripped open. My mother's typing table leaves broken... Haven't opened many boxes yet, but several are crushed. Nothing was of great value yet irreplaceable.
