Great place! My wife and I began the first leg of out cycle tour of the North Island with a stay here. We had finished an ambitious 120km trek from Auckland that day and were so relieved to finally arrive at The Club House. The host showered us with a warm welcome and hospitality from the beginning. We showered up, stowed our bikes and showered, and were then invited to a feast of a meal that a long day's cycle made all the better. The apartment off to the side of the house is very modern and clean on the inside and had more than enough room for just the two of us. We didn't have time to do any tour of the farm or grounds but did enjoy some fresh farm milk in our morning coffee. It was a perfect first welcome to the culture and people of New Zealand on only our 2nd night in the country. I highly recommend this place over any hotels or other lodging you might find in the area!
