   Our experience with Public Trust, was so straight forward. Everything was clearly explained. We did what we could on-line (Wills, EPOA) to save in costs, and there was never pressure for them to do it for us. The empathy and care shown to me after my husband's death was exemplary, which made it easier for me in dealing with all the legal requirements. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

   Public Trust would have a zero from me, to tell you what they have done, I have to give the one they do not deserve, like all their fee's, they have mismanaged my late Mothers Trust to the point that family can no longer occupy the property they have mis-managed due to "Hazardous Toxic Mould" levels have become Life threatening in the trust property, they put beneficieries into emergency housing because of the unsafe housing they caused, a lack of care, then when they pulled the plug on that! leaving a family homeless, they invited sick beneficieries back to the house, this could have resulted in Death or life threatening illness, they are out of their depth, and slow to act, dishonest in their dealings and do not act in Good Faith as trustee's are legally bound to do, they seem to have all the power, they have not replied to my e-mails, or other beneficieries they have caused great harm to? Neglectful and Negligent indeed!!

   We can't get our house back from the Public Trust because we need to pay a sibling's share, with a mortgage on our parents' house, but the Public Trust owns the house at this stage and they won't help us to sort this out. Since the beginning it seems like they just wanted the house to go to sale. To be honest, they do as little as possible, even at points not even responding when you talk to them. At points you will have to pay late fees for the rates because they forget to remind you of things like this. Public Trust hasn't helped with anything in over 2 years but because they ask every few months if we've come to an agreement, they somehow feel entitled to keep charging the estate of "services" when they are the hinderance preventing us from sorting this out. If you care at all about your loved ones, do not use Public Trust as an executor of your will. Your children deserve better.

   The Public Trust NZ is executing my late brother's Will. I live in England & am not very tech savvy & they have gone to great lengths to accommodate my need to do things the old fashioned way of paper, pen & post. They have been sympathetic to my loss, patient & understanding.

Our family is truly grateful for the support and resources provided that ensured he had a comfortable life.
