Store was empty. 4 staff on and they all just talked gossip and didn’t even say hello. The only time someone rushed to the counter was when we wanted to buy something. I wouldn’t have bought if my partner didn’t want anything due to the lack of service.
Wanted a Ripcurl leather wallet advertised on the website for a Xmas present. Showed the item on my phone and three staff members exclaimed they had never seen it before. Bad service can be from individuals, but this appears to be a managerial/company issue. Did not direct me to a similar item or any other style. Website does not give an option to check in store availability, or click and collect option... off to Northbeach.

This is a shop full of staff who hover around the counter, they make zero eye contact and not once have I ever been said hello to or even smiled at by any of them. To make matters even more unpleasant if you want to try anything on the change rooms are locked but the staff make no effort to assist you even if you've got a handful of items that obviously you're wanting to try on. Amazon Surf surely you can do better than this lot? I've always had exceptional service at the many North Beach stores I've visited and they are your competition.
Service is non-existent. Have been in a few times for various items for birthdays and Christmases and have never been talked to, let alone acknowledged by staff. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, but happened again. Taking money elsewhere from now on.
I bought sunglasses there that showed a defect. The plastic construction of the sunglasses has stretched and the glasses are falling off my head. Sunglasses dosn’t hold manufacture shape. I don't understand why poor quality plastic is used. And second problem came, foil from lens getting off. They didn’t accept my claim because is not “ manufacture problem”? I can’t believe! Who used poor plastic? manufacture! who used wrong lens foil? Manufacture not me! who is responsibil for problems? Manufacture and seller, and you dont want to fix it….poor shop I CANNOT RECOMMEND SHOPPING THERE…..so sad… And my second purchase was also horrible. I bought just silly socks and again wrong, I didn’t try claim it because they waste you time and energy. I can’t imagine buy there something more expensive…save your money and go to other store.
Wonderful experience. They aren’t pushy like other retail stores I have been too and are extremely helpful. I believe anyone that gives low ratings are a tad dramatic as I went in at least 3 times last week and walked out with something each time and awesome service from different people. Highly recommend!!
