   Superb customer service. I'll tell you a short story. I bought a tent from another retailer in Auckland. Website said 'in stock'. Turned out 'in stock' means nothing. Seven days later, I'm in this store asking 'where is my tent', and a 2 week comfortable lead time has turned into a 'I need this, this week' situation. So, forget this store, give me a refund please. I call up and confirm with John at EquipOutdoors that, yes, they have the inventory in shop. What's more, at 3pm in the afternoon, he is able to get it out on the courier that day. The next morning, my tent arrives. Big thanks to John and the team at EquipOutdoors for the above-and-beyond service.

   The guys at Equip Outdoors are awesome. I called late tuesday last week in need of a tent for the long weekend. After some great advice they pulled out all the stops, sourcing the tent and accessories and had it with me by the Thursday morning. Cannot fault the service! Appreciated

   Their stupid computer won't give you the Welcome discount because the item I wanted was $49.99 not $50 which the minimum for the discount. I RESPONSE.Dear Owner of business. In answer to my review about your computer not being able to allow for 1 cent so a NEW CUSTOMER can shop at your store, I would like to say that I think it is either about time you reprogrammed your computer so it can deal with 1 cent difference or DON'T ADVERTISE items for $49.99 or even close to that. If you had made the item $50 we wouldn't be having this argument. To suggest that I spemd more so as to get the discount doen not sit well with me. You are basically saying that I need to spend more to get a discount when what you should be doing is upgrading your computer systems. It smells of dodgy and reminds me of the sort of shady behaviour we have to deal with by McDonald's and upselling. Have a think about it. I have purchased the item now at Hunting and Fishing who price matched the item amd their service was second to none. Have a great day.
