I did the Hobbiton tour. I was anxious booking a excursion that wasn't from the ship, but they were so good about the time and I had a wonderful day. Playing dress up and even getting an ice cream at the end of our tour. It was great.
Recently went on the Hobbiton tour with Zealandia with my partner and a few other fellow cruise passengers and it was the most brilliant experience! Our guide Stephen was fantastic! We were just expecting to be taken to hobbiton and back but we were all guided around areas on the way to hobbiton, told amazing information about New Zealand and the different areas. Taken to a beautiful waterfall, kiwi fruit farm and other scenic areas. We were amazed with the service they provided! Would definitely be touring with Zealandia in the future and you should consider them first for any tours they provide. You won’t be disappointed. Worry free, we were all back to the boat with hours to spare.
Jan and Steve are perhaps the most lovely people we have ever met!! Jan was so patient and accommodating with our many cruise ship port time changes, and last minute switcharoo. Steve did a complete shift of his entire day to meet our tour requests, and we will forever be grateful for this. Steve was absolutely hilarious and gave us such a warm NZ welcome. Of our 19 days on vacation through NZ/Tassie/AU, this was by far our favorite. If you're going to the Port of Tauranga, Zealandier Tours will take great care you! Meet you right outside the ship, comfy van, sort out the tickets, and narration from a local- what more could you want?! We had the best day ever!!
We adored Stephen! Extremely knowledgeable, personable, smart and a great sense of humor. We had 7 or 8 cruise-provided tour guides during our 16 day cruise, and Stephen by far outshone them all. Highly recommend for private or group tours. Thanks Stephen
Celine Dion - Wow from the moment Jan picked us up till our return the following day it was relax and enjoy. and so much to enjoy. first surprise was an up grade at the Hotel, picked up and delivered right to the door of the concert venue. Celine Dion was Spectacular, Rocky and Amazing. we sang, we danced, we sat back in the most excellent seats just off the stage. Next day Jan took us on an extra sightseeing tour of the Auckland bays. The wintergardens until rest time when we turned for home. This Zealandier Tour was so enjoyable with a friendly relaxed group. Thanks Jan.
I took my children on a multi-day tour with Zealandier Tours, visiting the Waitomo Caves, staying there overnight, then boarding the train for the Volcanic Plateau. Jan our guide picked us up at the other end of the rail service, and drove us to our accommodation 'The Chateau'. After a small break she then took us up to the top of the road and helped us get on the chairlift which takes you up the Mountain. She came with us up to the Knoll Ridge Cafe, which provided stunning panoramic views. The children and I found a hill to toboggan down, and it was just a really lovely way to end the day. Jan was very hospitable, and went out of her way to ensure everybody was well catered for. I would definitely travel with Zealandier again.
