Really fun and creative rooms with cool, immersive decor. Owner (assumedly) was really friendly and obviously had a love of escape rooms. Did the Diner, the Orphanage, and Da Vinci rooms.
I loved the Psycho Motel but I recommend making it a lot more scary. I kinda went into it thinking it was going to be terrifying and it turned out it wasn't which was a relief and a disappointment at the same time. BUT other then that me and my mate really enjoyed ourselves and are going to come back for our 5TH TIME!
The escape rooms are absolutely amazing and the service is even better. My family and I did the wizarding school room and basically beat it (with a bunch of clues of course!). The service there is amazing and they are very kind. As you can only go for 90 min I would highly recommend asking for a hint if you are stuck.
Fabulous family activity!! We have been in a few times with our kids and love these escape rooms! They are so detailed and clever but great for children with some adult help. Staff are always lovely and the man who was working today was wonderful! Highly recommend!!
These escape rooms were amazing. Our host was helpful and informative. The puzzles were challenging but enjoyable. We did the School of Wizardry which I highly recommend. And we also did the Di Vinci room... this one was really cool. Thoroughly enjoyed both and im sure the staff had a lot of laughs watching us bring to escape. So if you are reading my post, do it, book in and have some fun, you won't be disappointed.
Honestly, the best experience I've had with customer service, enthusiastic staff I love the energy. Me and my partner did the wizardry room it's based on Harry Potter, so if you love Harry Potter like we do, I highly suggest you check this place out, even if you don't like Harry Potter there's plenty of other rooms! Just check this place out it's a gem!
What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a wet day. Was great fun for three adult family members. Loads of laughs and some tough thinking to get us out in the 90 minutes allotted. Would happily do another.
Super fun and good with their hints, My group was not too good at it but their hints were super helpful and helped us figure it out instead of just giving us the answer. Definitely will go back it was awesome. We did the 50s diner.
Go literally anywhere else! I have no idea how this place has such a high review score, it's a cheaply made cash grab that obviously goes for the quantity of rooms over the quality of them. But still has the audacity to charge the same price as other escape rooms! The decor is comparable to that of a child's birthday party, with pathetic props and banners in a normal room! (Yes I have the right place, I did the school of wizardry room) I wish I had photos to show just how bad it is. They claim you can't take any to "protect the mystery and excitement", when really it's to scam people into thinking they're getting a real escape room experience! If you're expecting to be immersed in a world of story, please go somewhere else, this room had decoration that I would expect from a primary school play. And to top it all off, not only are the puzzles a bit janky and dont function quite right, a major starting component of our room didnt function properly when we put in the right code (on multiple tries) so we spent half the time thinking the code was wrong, trying different things only to ask for help to be told our first attempt should have worked. Maybe its the lack of competition in Tauranga that means they can get away with this? But its completely ridiculous! I can't believe I spent so much money for such a bland waste of what was esentially a decorated bedroom. Sadly I'll probably never forget it because my expectations and excitement were so high, only to be completely and utterly let down. (I did originally have a it in here about the rooms not being private, but maybe its just their booking system that doesn't make it clear the rooms actually are private so I have removed that part. But rest assured, I'm definitely talking about this place)
Very cool place. We did the mad scientist lab challenge and it was so good! Really got us thinking. The puzzles are great, just the right balance between too easy and not solvable. Really enjoyed it!
