Had a Fantastic trip with this company, AWESOME Driver in Mark for 3 days , Thanks Again Champ. Mot to forget Wayne for picking us up at home , delivering us to Hamilton to start then home again 2 days later..
Our school had a tour of the north island and our bus drivers Dave, Gary, and Russel were just amazing. Dave was super friendly and joined in on the jokes we all made and was super keen to help our recht get music up on the bus and even try and get the AFL finals on the tv screens of the bus. Overall, they were great bus drivers to have, would easily spend more time with Dave at any opportunity given.
We had a great tour of the homes around Whanganui. Julie our driver and guide was fantastic. A very competent driver who's skills were unsurpassed. She gave us a great cometary with humour and knowledge. In our opinion whatever you're paying her it's not enough. Brian Thomson. Edna Reihana.
I cannot speak more highly of Leisure Tours. Tonight my 77 year old mum caught the bus from Hamilton to Auckland after the Te Huia train was cancelled due to a fire in Auckland. Traffic accidents also delayed them so much that instead of arriving at 4pm they ended up getting to Parnell after dark. The driver (sadly she never got his name....) was amazing!! He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure three female passengers got safely to their destinations and said he couldn't in all conscience leave them in the dark like that. The extra care is greatly appreciated!!
Great service and adventures. Comfortable buses with excellent drivers. Why it loses a star is that we leave at 7:30am but we travel around Hamilton picking up people who weren't at the depo. I think everyone should leave from the depo rather spend up to an hour waiting and travelling in Hamilton morning traffic.

Have some good excursions and at a fair price. Based in Hamilton and a bit messy for Auckland clients to get there. Offer a pick up service at some cost.

Our tour guides, Trish and Clem, made our visit to New Zealand so much more than just a bus tour. Their warmth and humanity came across in the care they showed on each stop of our trip. Of course they were knowledgeable, but the facts of a place can easily be found online. Guides who make you feel as if you're not just another backside filling a bus seat are special. Little things ("We're stopping here just for a moment so you can check out this little ice cream shop and try some hokey pokey ice cream...") made a big difference. I'd definitely book with this company again based on our experience with Trish and Clem
