Thanks very much Graeme & Jenny, Kirstie & Ann Marie. I had a great surgical procedure of 4 wisdom teeth out. You guys made the experiance a lot less scary. Thanks for fitting me in in such short notice also- my pain is alot less compared to befoe. Would highly recommend this practice to all & I loved the fish tank too!!!! I can't wait to become a regular patient of Dr. Graeme's now. See you on thursday - I would love to talk to Graeme more about re-doing my porcelian veeneers also
I was visiting Tauranga and needed assistance on a public holiday for severe toothache and was seen within the hour by the Practice Manager and the Dentist. A root canal on the tooth was performed sensitively, after options given, and I can't rate the service highly enough that I received, with instant relief from the toothache. Highly recommended. Tony
Yes. Do use & trust this Dentist. My first contact with Harley Dentistry was just after Christmas 2017. I had a swollen abscess above a molar tooth due to a previous root canal treatment by another dentist that had failed. I first saw an "emergency dentist" in Tauranga and got told to have the molar tooth removed. Not great. Given I wanted to see if there was another option to save the molar - I attempted to make contact with other dentists in Tauranga. Given this was Tauranga in the summer holidays - I listened to a lot of recorded messages telling me to ring back in early January 2018. Panic. However, I then phoned the Harley Dentistry Practice and was able to speak directly with Maria Macfarlane. Maria spoke to me even thought she was on holiday herself. Maria listened and gave clear advice on how to get the abscess sorted out and a suggested pathway going forward. When I first saw Maria I had all my questions answered and a number of costed treatment options. Five months later I have been able to keep the molar. I had re-worked root canal treatment and a crown. It turns out the dentist who carried out the original canal work only treated 3 of the 4 canals! The quotation I was given back in January for the agreed work never changed. I was provided a quotation in writing. I did read the every previous google reviews about this practice. I found Maria Macfarlane, Kirstie, Ann-Maree, Jenny and Graeme Lynam very professional and caring. I found this to be true for each appointments I had over the last 5 months. At times the staff put in extra time if the treatment required this. I waited to the end of the treatment before I wrote this review. Appreciate that dealing with any Dentist is a step of trust and a deal of cost involved. However, I very much recommend the high technical standard of work and care at this practice.
I made an appointment with the hygienist for a clean and declared on the New Patient Form that my last clean was over 5 years ago. No one at Harley Dentistry said anything about possibly needing a second appointment until it came time to pay. My time with the hygienist consisted of a maximum 40 minutes of actual cleaning dotted between idle chit-chat to slow things down and a lengthy and unnecessary tutorial on how to floss! To ensure an early finish, the hygienist spent time chatting to my son in the room and then started fossicking around in a draw looking for a sticker for him to wear. The hygienist was very personable, however, I was never informed that the meter runs for the full hour despite all the mucking around. In fact, it was only at the front desk that I was told the hygienist will have to drag out her work for another hour AND it would cost me an additional appointment time - $320 for a clean!! When I relayed the series of events, I was offered a half-price exam with the Dentist at some later date or some discounted X-rays as compensation for a tardy job and poor communication. Neither services I wanted or needed - I simply wanted my teeth clean as per my appointment and as per the invoice. I left Harley Dentistry $160 poorer and still in need of a clean. Needless to say I will find another dentist.
Very professional service. Comprehensive range of treatments are available and staff are friendly and helpful. I am a very satisfied with workmanship. Highly recommended Dental Clinic for those living in BOP and Waikato areas if you are seeking quality dental treatment and value for money.
I have had an awesome and wonderful experience with a good fortune of having Maria and Graeme as my dentists, they are both equally professionals,gentle and works with a high dental treatment quality within a reasonable price. Reception and Nursing Staff are all very accommodating and friendly. My teeth are now sparkling white after two weeks of bleaching/whitening gel treatment. To top it all, Hygienist Christina amazingly did a great job cleaning and polishing my teeth, She's very thorough ,gentle and was the most painless clean and polish I ever experienced for a long time. More Power to the Team. Highly recommended to all.
