Seeing a lot of people complaining about the level of English comprehension, but I had absolutely zero issues communicating what I wanted. Before every stage, the dude also double checked what I wanted. Sure they're not too talkative, but they do a great cut and are open far later than other places. Best cut I've had in years. Thanks.
I called in a few weekends ago for a simple haircut and on arrival asked how much for a guys haircut and was told $25 by the owner. The hairdresser who did the cut had a unique technique. For a clipper cut on the sides and back, he was very/overly repetitive with the motion, and quite firm (a bit sore). The scissor cut through the front was very uneven. I realised half way through the cut the hairdresser seemed very inexperienced (untrained?). At the counter to pay and the amount had changed to $34. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 was the owner tried to rectify the uneven front, but overall I left unhappy with the service.
"I recently visited House of Cuts Barber for my sons haircut. While I found the service to be good, I must admit that it did not exceed my expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. However, I have been to other barbershops where the service has been superb, and House of Cuts Barber just did not quite measure up to that standard yet. Overall, I would say that they are OK, but not superb. If you're in the neighborhood, it's worth checking out, but I would keep my expectations in check.
Excellent service, very happy with the haircut, nevertheless, staff needs to improve on his English. Had to show him a picture of what I wanted. He was very respectful and thorough with his work.
One of staff in this shop donβt understand much English as I told him what I want for my hair and he completely gave me a wrong haircut. I am embarrassed now i donβt wanna go to gym but I respect the hustle and did pay $35 for what I don't want. Iβve been here once before and other staff(younger) is actually talented and amazing. Wouldnβt recommend the (older) staff who donβt understand much English. Overall give this shop a 5/10
This man made me wait over an hour to get a basic cut done. No one else was in the shop. No cleaning of equipment after the other customer before me. He went for lunch on top of that. The customer service and hygiene in this place is shocking. I would not recommend.
