   Great service, been a while since id been in so had forgot the menu. Wasnt too busy so i stood back and read the whole menu aloud to my vision impaired son and the staff member waited very patiently at the counter as I explained it all to him. She was very helpful with getting the combos right and helping with the add ons. Was really nice to come in and get lovely service with a smile and fast turnover of order after the last few fast food take outs we've had recently.

   Highly disappointed by the “tenders” I received tonight through the drive thru. The other tenders were this size as well, thought to take a photo for size comparison with a fry. Not happy that I paid hard earned money for some thumb sized “tenders”. Would appreciate to be contacted by a manager please as this is not the first time this has happened at the Frankton store

   Carl's Jr. Is an awesome alternative to other big burger franchises. Staff were awesome... hopefully and happy. Atmosphere was ok, good seeing children there too. Food... Sadly was average (tasting). Although the burgers we had (Vegetarian and Super Star) were MASSIVE with lot of filling and big patries and buns but they both lacked taste, relying on the sauces to give it flavour we think. Chips were ok, and I liked unlimited drinks.

   I recently tried the Famous Star burger at Carls Jr, and let me tell you, it was a major letdown. The lettuce was practically nonexistent, like they were rationing it or something. And don't even get me started on the tomatoes – limp, tasteless, and downright sad. As for the sauce, they must have forgotten to add it because there was barely a hint of it. To top it all off, I had to pay an arm and a leg for this sorry excuse of a burger. Save your money and your taste buds, folks. This burger is not worth it.

   Even though the store was very busy - only 1 or 2 empty tables, service was quiet quick, and the food was all hot and fresh, with good flavour. All tables were clean, and food scraps cleared away quickly (does not happen in all stores - especially some other fast food brands)

   It is a great place to eat at. We ordered our meal then we were seated and before we knew it, oùr meal was bought to us. It was lovely to eat in a nice warm place considering it was a cold evening. Lovely atmosphere and we would definitely go back.

   I'm prepared to drive across town before driving home just to get their criss cut fries. Burgers are good too. However, sign board at drive through shows changing food deals, says for a limited time but didn't change picture for ages! I was waiting to see what came next but someone pulled in behind me and I had to move on.

   My bucket list is to eat at all the Carls Jr's in New Zealand. So far it's been great and fulfilling experience. This quest will add meaning to my short and meager existence while on this planet. Thanks to Carls Jr has filled a void that would otherwise be full of emptyness. Long live the Happy Star and Famous Star that are make up the fast food constellations.
