   I have been a regular at Vivo Bethlehem for approximately 18 months. Approximately 6 months ago I had a Friday morning appointment, which I had booked in person 8 weeks before, and subsequently re-confirmed a few days before the appointment through Vivo's text messaging service. Upon arrival I was told there was no appointment in their Bethlehem salon computer system anymore and the stylist was absent that day. Expressing my confusion, frustration and inconvenience about the situation, Siobhan managed to get me into the Tauranga (Cameron Road) salon later that morning, which was appreciated but also not ideal because I had to cancel another appointment later that day to accommodate this change. I naively thought that this was a 'one off' communication error and was unlikely to happen again, so I re-booked my next hair colouring service at the Vivo Bethlehem salon. On Friday 10 October I arrived at 9am for my hair colouring service and was told by the junior male hair stylist at the desk that there was no appointment booked for me. Again, I presented the Vivo text message I received two days before the appointment which confirmed it was the correct day and time. Also, I explained to him that I had received a voice message from Siobhan, also a few days prior, to remind me about my appointment for Friday at 9am. I hadn't been able to return the phone call; however, I had received the Vivo text message to confirm the appointment so assumed it was all fine. Rather than try to troubleshoot the situation and work out a solution, he told me to email the customer service team about the matter. Instead, I asked to speak to the salon manager, given that this was the second time this had happened to me at his salon. I requested that the manager call me when she arrived at the salon, and he assured me he would pass on the request. To add insult to injury, the patronising way in which he said, "I hope you have a nice day!" as I left the salon to go home tipped me to boiling point. I never received a phone call...which is very disappointing and indicative of the disregard for the inconvenience caused. Scheduling a hair colouring appointment to also fit into my calendar amongst all the other family and work commitments I have, along with travelling 30 minutes into town from my rural property, is no easy task. I will not risk this happening to me again, so will no longer be a client of Vivo Bethlehem and would not recommend them.

   I came into see Jazzy (Jasmine) for the first time (hope that’s how you spell her name.) I came in and used a GrabOne voucher as I wasn’t entirely happy with my existing hair dresser so thought I would try somewhere else and I am so glad that I did. From start to end her service was on point, I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she asked all the right questions and nailed it. She now will have a new regular customer because of this experience and I am so glad that she did my hair. Amazing!!

   I had a really positive experience here! I had heavily damaged bleach hair and wanted to go back to my natural colour! I had an awesome hair stylist “Jamie” who was lovely and easy to explain what I wanted! As they were busy finishing another client I had 2 young apprentices who were lovely! I didn’t catch one of the names but one of the girls was Izzy and she was lovely and chatty and did an excellent job listening to Jamie’s instructions and stayed after closing to get the job done with Jamie! My hair feels healthier and got lots of compliments! Thank you so much for giving me my confidence back! I will be back to re book with these lovely young up and coming hair stylists!

   I had my hair done by Siobhan a few months back and she completely fixed the damage that another salon had done, making my hair look blonde instead of the streaky copper and yellow mess with no change to my regrowth colour like I entered with. I’d happily catch another plane to NZ to visit her again

   OMG went in trying to desperately fix my newly done hair with some colour conditioner (ended up in tears) - and after speaking to me the wonderful ladies were able to squeeze me in and totally fix my hair. I am now not going to be trying to hide under a hat for the big family celebration next week. Am so grateful Ange. See you soon.
