   Headlights failed the day before long weekend. Gave Sheaffs a call on the Friday not expecting they’d be able to help that day but they offered to have a look in the arvo. Turned out to be simple bulb replacement (simple for them, not me haha) and they did it on the spot for a fair price. Super grateful! Friendly and helpful. Thanks heaps fellas!

   Posting a review to compliment and recommend the team at GVI/Sheaff vehicle service centre on Hewletts Rd, Mt Maunganui. We experienced excellent service and support from Tim who provided valuable advice and recommendations to ensure safety of the vehicle while balancing cost. Also really good communication to ensure we had all the information to make decisions and understand progress. Again thanks Tim for stand out service, Hayley who added to the good communication and to the entire team onsite for adding to a welcoming experience.

   We’ve always had great service here, but this time they went above and beyond. We called in with a brake issue and they had us booked in first thing the next morning. After dropping my car off, the lovely receptionist even drove me into the city during rush hour, so kind and friendly to chat with, and offered to pick me up again later that day. The repair itself was done quickly, the price was very reasonable for the work needed, and when I collected my car they told me they’d even washed it for me! Truly excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend.

   GVI had a good service when I brought my car from here in 2023. I went back there for my last 2 years of Wof repairs. The lady at the reception was not welcoming or polite to customer. There was an incident when I brought my car for repair, but they left one issue unrepaired. I came back again to get it fixed, she didn’t even say sorry for the mistake that they did. Today I went there to get a quote, she was very rude and unprofessional.

   Mark Sheaff was such a pleasant mechanic to work with. Not only is he honest and fair so are his prices. I would recommend his garage to anyone. Being a woman and not knowing much about cars, I did not feel that I was being over charged or taken advantage of. If you are a woman, or a backpacker, or new to the bay of plenty area and want a trustworthy opinion....Sheaff Autos is the way to go! Thanks to Mark and the team for everything!
