   I have been going to Tauranga Automotive for about 4 years now, before i even moved to tauranga! Rex was highly recommended to me by a friend who is very particular with his vehicle, for being fair, reasonable and knowing his stuff. For me who knows nothing about cars and always having the fear of being taken for a ride, i have always had wonderful service, everything explained, advice given to keep or discard car (like my first dud car!) in order to save money. Rex is always quick to respond and does the work in a timely manner - and will book me in when there is a loan car available which is always appreciated! Highly recommend Rex and his team at Tauranga Automotive :)

   Needed a same day service be ause I had surgery two days later and a WOF recheck needing to be done before hand. Called up the day before and was told it could be done same day. I had been quoted elsewhere 625 for the same repair but it wouldn't be done for two weeks. Tauranga Automotive told me they would do it for 925. I accepted thinking it would be done same day. It wasnt, and they needed the weekend. Vehicle wasnt ready till Monday afternoon, while I was fresh out of surgery. Took them three days to do something they said they could do same day, and charged me way more to do it. Do not recommend these guys. Go to Superior Auto or Premier Auto. All Maleme st mechanics are rip off, 90+ just for labor.

   Rex and his team are a very professional group of people, they were able to fix the issues I had been having with my vehicle for a long time and are very easy and stress free to deal with. They do their very best to make sure they keep contact and keep you up to date with everything that is going on while they are working on your vehicle and let you know if they see anything that may need work. Overall great service and I would highly reccomend .
