   Unfortunately, I did not have a very good experience with Paul. I was a new client to the salon; I had asked for a stylist who was comfortable with dry cuts. I also asked that they not straighten my hair, I wanted my natural curl to come out with the cut (which I don’t think is an unusual request, however, was made to feel like it was a strange request). I was told to bring pictures to show Paul. When I showed Paul the pictures, he barely glanced at them, shrugged them all off as "styled" and didn't make any suggestions. I also asked for long layers, which he didn't seem to be concerned with however he did say, "I'm told that I'm not allowed to wash and dry your hair" I said "do whatever you're comfortable with, I just don’t want it straightened." He proceeded to cut my hair dry. When I offered some suggestions as to what I wanted in the front, he said that my request was weird. Regardless of whether or not my request was "weird" or maybe he thought it wasn't a good idea, the way he treated me as a customer was absolutely appalling. In the end he blamed my dissatisfaction on him not being allowed to cut my hair wet. As a new client, I would expect a stylist to consult with me on my suggestions or requests based on what they know as the EXPERT and, to advise the client on what would work best for their hair type. He did NONE of this and proceeded to treat me like an idiot for even making a suggestion. Not to mention he was 15 min late for my appointment and when I asked him to fix the cut, he said he has run out of time. I will never go back to Paul again, if you get a booking with him ask for someone else (I also now see other reviews of a bad experience with Paul) as everyone else seemed really lovely and to work well with their clients.
