   Went in to make an appointment for dentures. Got told it will be $175 for exam and xray..went in for the appointment, they gave me an exam and got given some options on my budget and told of approx cost of dentures at $7000. Got charged $200 for the appointment with no xray on the way out the door..next day received another quote for $12500 and a totally different plan to what was agreed upon and way above my budget, so wasted my $200 going to them with no recourse. I am sure that they would want another $200 to talk to them again about the plan which was discussed. A very shady dentistry with alot of hidden costs.. avoid if possible. So in all that, I got told a $175 appointment turned out to cost $200 and then told that I was lucky because it normally costs $300 and a $7000 quote turned into a $12500 quote which could rise. I should've realised what they are like by being the only dentist in Hamilton that doesn't have a price guide on their website. I wonder why dentists aren't trusted and people dont like going to them... After looking at your fabricated response, there seems to be other issues with your practice..I was in consultation with the dentist for less than an hour. I think 5mins over my allotted time and got told that I could've been charged for 2 appointments but you let me off lightly with me being told that I should be thankful that I am not being charged for the full time. There was nothing done in the appointment apart from an visual inspection of my teeth and a talk about cost options of my teeth as I had a budget..the person I talked to on the phone regarding my review told me that a refund would be coming and then I would have to delete my review, which hasn't happened. I was NOT offered another consult..dodgy as place..glad I went somewhere else

   I’ve visited this clinic a few times since moving to Hamilton, and it’s honestly the best dental facility I’ve ever been to. As a family-run practice, it has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and you can tell they truly enjoy their work. Their genuine care for their clients really shows. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

   I had a dental emergency with pain and a broken tooth. The caring team at River Road Dental accommodated me with an urgent appointment. The receptionist was lovely and made me feel welcome. I was so anxious but the dentist was so gentle and took the time to explain everything clearly and put me at ease. I was expecting to pay more being a same day urgent appointment but found their dental service to be so affordable. I will not go anywhere else, highly recommended!

   I would not recommend River Road Dentist. I found their services expensive and the staff unfriendly. The receptionist was rude, and I felt judged by the dentist during my visit. I’m really glad I got a second opinion before committing to treatment. For a much better experience, I highly recommend Victoria Dentist. They are more affordable, the team is friendly & genuinely cares about you & Dr Richard is excellent!!! thorough, fast & painless

   After finding many 5 star reviews on this dental practice, we decided to take my 14 year old son for a visit. Firstly the receptionists in front were absolutely friendly and lovely. Kruti, the dentist without any introduction or even a hello to any of us, starts off by asking my son, " What's the reason for the appointment?" She listened, then immediately examined, with no explanation as to what she's going to do or anything of the sort. After looking into his mouth, she turned around and started explaining something to us. I had to stop her right there, introduced my husband and myself to her, asked her for her name, and who she was, then let her continue. My husband and I ( both medical doctors) stood there, absolutely shocked and disappointed! Such terrible, cold manners from a professional. I would not recommend Kruti to anyone.

   I had a very bad experience with Dr Kruti. First of all her manner is very abrupt bordering on rude. Secondly she told me a lot of misinformation about my teeth - that I had gum disease - that I had a loose tooth. When I followed up overseas at my dentist 4 months later he told me neither was the case! He did find I needed 2 fillings! I find it very surprising that Dr Kruti did not notice this 4 months earlier as I had X-rays with her! I can’t imagine how 2 holes will come in 4 months out of nowhere. Overall I would avoid this dentist as my experience was quite upsetting. Perhaps she was rude and careless as I was just visiting and so she could not be bothered to do her job properly- as I would not be her regular patient.
