stopped off at this bakery on my through town and never ever will I return. horrible service. I would give 0 stars if that was an option.
Never returning to this place, staff can’t even speak english
I’m absolutely appalled by the experience my elderly friend had at Schans Bakery today. Her phone fell out of her bag while shopping at Countdown, and according to Find My iPhone, it showed up at this bakery. When she called, they admitted the phone was there, so she drove over—worried sick—to collect it. What happened next was unbelievable and completely unacceptable. Staff insisted she unlock the phone “to prove it was hers,” which she did, and the moment it lit up they snatched it out of her hand aggressively. To make things even worse, they demanded money before giving it back. Who treats an elderly person like that? This whole situation was stressful, intimidating, and left her shaken. No business should behave this way. If this is how they treat vulnerable customers just trying to retrieve their own belongings, I won’t be going anywhere near this place again—and I’ll be warning others too !
Terrible service. Food was goss undercooked No English NEVER GO HERE!
Food was bland and the sandwich we got was old. The bread was hard and the bacon wouldn't even break apart. We knocked the bacon on the table and it just did not break.

Super friendly owners, always greet you with a smile and a welcome. Coffee is good, food has always been good and reasonable price. Go there most days of the week.
If you go this place, you will waste money. Nothing from this bakery is eatable and drinkable
i came here and she said oh go to the other counter. i notice she left two items at other counter, so i turned around to get them and turned back and notice she was adding extra dollar on the till. i didnt know how much certain itemz were so i couldnt add it up. any way we got 4 kabarbs small chip smal coffee carot cake, and a chicken avo sandwhich and and it came up to 33.5o so i dnt knw how many times she added the extra $1 to till
Ordered fish and chips thinking it was fresh as mentioned outside the shop. Worst experience, three layered batter covering a tiny fish and not cooked properly with over fried and cold chips, that too over priced. Will not recommend this place to anyone.
