What a great park for walking your dog. Perfect for me, as it is paved, and flat. And so much space for my dog to run.
Amazing fun loving place to hangout even playing football ⚽
I've got one kid whom is football mad and one whom is basketball mad, so this place was the perfect stop to let them both enjoy and for me to be able to watch both kids at the same time. If you are wary of dogs or have kids whom are afraid of dogs I wouldn't recommend comming here as there was ALOT of unleashed dogs.
The dog loved it. A 1.75km walking path is great on days when grass is wet.
Was watching a relative play soccer. The pitch looked really nice. There was a coffee cart on site too.

Fabulous park to walk in especially with family dog. Meet lots of nice people and dogs.
Great place to have a walk, play or walk your dog! Huge park where you can do your daily walk or run, physical activity and dog walking. Everyday a lot of people come here and enjoy their time. In sunny weekend, people also play football and rugby. There is a beautiful memorial in their just beside the graveyard. It also has a pre school close by. I enjoy the view and walk every time I go at the Avonhead park. ❤️
