I bet that all the five star reviews are either from staff, first year students who wouldn't know a good nightclub if they walked into one, or people who were paid to give this club a good review. I've been to practically every nightclub in Hamilton- Bar 101 (RIP), The Hood (now Coyotes), Static, House etc. However, there is one thing wrong with The Outback. EVERYTHING. The drinks are overpriced, the customers are rude to the bartenders, and DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE BOUNCERS! I have been turned away twice. The first time was because I was apparently "drunk", despite the fact that I was completely sober. The second time was for being "too old", which was THE most offensive thing someone has ever said to me. The bouncers there are simply awful and should be shown how to REALLY tell the difference between a drunk person and a sober person. They really are that bad. I actually complained to them, and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it. They are obviously afraid of criticism, or just plain insecure. Also, the music is trash. Honestly, I just don't see why so many people enjoy this nightclub. If I could give it half a star, I would, and even that is being generous! If you have heard bad stories about The Outback, they are more than likely true. To quote another reviewer, if I could give the outback a lower star, I would.

Good luck. I genuinely believe with your current business model and profiling of potential customers you'll be in liquidation by June 25.

Don't go in here. Regardless of what age, don't come in here.

Bouncers are homophobic and highly discriminating. No proper training or lessons for the bouncer. Extremely overpriced and not worth going. Drinks are overpriced and staff are horrendously unfriendly. I wouldn't trust your life inside this establishment.

I only rated this 1 star because google made me. Absolutely disgusted by this place. I was here at 1am on Saturday night this weekend just past, I saw a bouncer place his hands on a young female walking her out the door after hearing her say β€œdon’t touch me i’m already leaving” and to see him continue to shove her out the door whilst pushing her chest. The worst part is the bar staff laughed as she was being kicked out obviously upset, this place obviously needs an overhaul of staff, management, bouncers and clearly ethics.

I cant see anywhere on your website that states older people aren't allowed in your bar . On Saturday night I was informed in the line to get in I was too old to go inside your establishment.(I didn't realise 50 is over the hill ) Pretty disappointing given there were 25 in our party celebrating my nieces 21st birthday . Pretty rude of your security guard to call out me being too old to come in . Disappointing to come all the way from Christchurch to be treated like that .
