   Do not come here if you’re gluten free. They called me 20 mins after collection to tell me there was a mix up and my pizza wasn’t gluten free. Having already ate some of it I was so unwell. Owner came on the phone, quite rudely asking what I wanted to do. Requested a refund on our order- this couldn’t be done & was told to come into them the next day for cash. (Which also couldn’t be offered apparently the next day even though I was told so.) Was so rude on arrival, huffing and saying ‘it was only one pizza’ one bite was enough to ruin my whole weekend, making me extremely unwell. No remorse shown whatsoever. Not even an apology. Do not offer gluten free options if you clearly don’t care.

   Pizza was fantastic, possibly the best I've had from any takeaways/Pizza/Restaurant. The garlic chips was delicious not greasy or soggy but crispy and the perfect amount of garlic also. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic pizza and looking forward to trying there burgers in the future. 29-Nov-2025 Had the fish burger and it wasn't good at all, looked ok but was more bun than anything else, piece of crumbed fish fillet cut up and a little bit of salad, don't recommend at all, Garlic chips with no where near what that where like last time, they were soggy with a little bit of garlic butter on no salt or any other seasoning unlike the last time. I will not be going back and can't recommend this place after today's visit.

   DO NOT GO HERE, GO DOWN THE ROAD TO THE PUB OR SECRET GARDEN FOR PIZZA. THIS IS A LARGE PIZZA THAT WAS AROUND $34. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

   It cost $63 for 1 regular size pizza (supposedly "XL") and 1 mini pizza (a "regular"), neither were a high enough quality to make up for it. They we so absurdly small for the price we had to check with the staff that we got the correct order. Also the order did not go through online but my card was still charged. We called to see if the order went through and were told they were "very busy" though the place was empty when we arrived. This place is absolutely not worth a visit.

   Was really disappointed with the size of the pizza that was $22 and classified as seafood but only had a handful of prawns on it. Also had a black hair on the pizza when opened. Burgers are fine for the value.

   Really enjoyed this cafe. Staff and owner friendly, food great, huge variety available .The advantage here is you can takeaway or stay and eat in a covered seating area. Good if you wear hearing aids and find the noise of the bars too loud.

   Pizza bases are low quality shop bought, burgers have negligible salad and the "fillet burger" was just a crumbed chicken patty. Cheezy weezys are good, thats about it though sadly. Friendly staff

   Went on a road trip out to Waihi beach with some friends! All very hungry and was not disappointed by the food or customer service! Food was filling and delicious and the secret ingredient we all could taste!! We will be back for sure and with more friends!

   Wish I had read the reviews before ordering from here. We had a large order feeding a family of 12 and were not impressed with the quality. We were ordering of an old pamphlet at the guesthouse we were staying at so got a surprise when going un to pay and pick up. The chicken, Avocado, bacon burgers had bottle Avocado paste in them, unacceptable in Avocado Capital! The chips were soggy and overpriced the chocolate mousse was inedible. I would definalty not recommend wasting your money and going here!

   Got takeaway pizzas. Xlarge 2 for $52.50 and the value of the BBQ Meatlovers was AMAZING. Even the teenager was raving about the amount of topping. The seafood pizza however was underwhelming. The odd bit of octopus tentacles and small clams or mussel bits and more of a cheese and tomato herb pizza. Chips were a good side however.
