    Most excellent customer service! Unfortunately my size wasn't available so they rang me and spoke to me about it. I opted for the next size down with the assurance that if it didn't fit, I could return it. Didn't need to! It was totally fine. Great customer service! Will shop here again!!

    This is possibly the worst and most rude online shop I have ever used. I purchased products to try, over $600 worth. Two items didn’t fit. I returned them, but they only do store credit, no refund. I emailed to ask for a refund. Not only did they respond spelling my name incorrectly, but the second email indicated that I should’ve emailed them during shop hours, what the hell. I will never shop here again. All brands are available elsewhere so beware everyone. I bought products to try from 7 online shops, I returned to 4 of these, this is the ONLY shop that didn’t refund in full. I returned the items the day after they arrived and by overnight courier. Now I have to buy stuff to use up my $358 credit. Appalling service.

    I needed a last minute outfit for my 40th the next day, I thought I knew what I wanted but when I tried it on it didn’t look great. Rochie then helped me to pick out the perfect outfit. She gave me honest feedback and was patient as I tried a lot on. I was so happy with the result and went on to have the best birthday, feeling relaxed and comfortable! Best customer service!

Big thanks to Suzy and Jo the owners for helping me with my drama of trying to pick a dress for an engagement party! Honestly so helpful, best service in Hamilton by far!     I have been a customer at Shine for 7 years since I brought my very first Augustine piece for a special event. I have always enjoyed getting my Augustine sell out pre order items from the friendly gals in store and going into store to try different, exciting and new pieces on. However, after going into store a month ago over a long weekend to show my daughter the shop I admire and introduce her to her first piece of Augustine we were rudley treated by one of the Owners after trying on some pieces. Firstly my daughter was asked to show and help the owner where she got the items from in store and help them put them back and when she asked if we could hold an item and come back after grabbing a bite to eat was told she couldn’t hold it and if she wanted it she would have to buy it there and then, and they were closing early that day. I was asked which item I was going to buy then after trying on some items and I was undecided and said I would think about my decision. I was rudely asked If I actually shopped at Shine or do I just buy from Augustine??!!! I guess the manager didn’t realise a regular customer and how rude and horrible he was on our visit. I was so embarrassed in front of my daughter and she had the worst experience shopping there. We are very disappointed with how we were treated and we managed to find the same item she wanted from another stockist as we were so rudely and badly mistreated. I haven’t been back to the shop since and not sure if I will purchase again from a shop I have been a loyal customer to for many years. Really angry with my mistreatment and bad customer service.

    Absolutely terrible service in the centreplace store on Monday ( Public holiday) I walked into the store to hear Suzy who I believe is the owner complaining to a customer about ‘how her staff were allowed the day off but she had to work!!! ‘ I was very rudely spoken to by her while in the changing room about ‘freeing up a dressing room anytime soon?’ She’d offered no help to me since entering the store and I was not even close to finishing trying on the dresses I had in there. I was hurried along after literally a few more minutes and when asked if she could take anything out for me when she pulled back the curtain while I wasn’t fully dressed & before I even had time to gather a couple of items to pass out to her. She then said rudely through the curtain that I had quickly closed ‘are you going to buy anything!!!’ This absolute appalling service was finished off by me handing her back the dresses to which she put out her arm, said nothing to me, gave me the dirtiest look and went to grab the items from me and then let her hand down on purpose causing me to suddenly take the weight of the garments and then she proceeded to drag the beautiful new season Augustine dresses across the shop floor to the counter where she hung them on a low rail where they lay draped over the floor like they were old clothes!!! I was shocked and honestly could not believe how rudely I was spoken to or how unprofessional she acted! I’m a fairy regular customer - she knows me and knows I purchase from them and this service was beyond appalling. I couldn’t wait to leave! Thankfully she is not normally there on a Monday and Renee who usually works Monday’s is nothing short of amazing with very friendly service, an extremely kind approach and genuine delight in helping you have a memorable shopping experience. There is absolutely no excuse for treating customers in this manner and nobody deserves to have the experience that I did that day!!!!

    BEWARE NO REFUND ON FAULTY ITEMS!!!!! I purchased a pair of full priced new season shoes for a special event. There was a rattle in the heel that I noticed while trying on at home. The shoes had not been worn and only tried on on carpet. I returned them within 24 hours of purchase. The sales person agreed there was a fault and told me I would get a refund as they had no other shoes in my size. She said she could not refund in store, I would have to wait for the manager to contact me. I explained that I needed them and did not want to miss out so ordered online. I was reassured refund would not be a problem. I would have happily swapped shoes if they had the same size or a size down but they did not have either size in stock. I was contacted by the manager several days later who informed me that I would not get a refund and I would have to wait for him to order a replacement. He was rude and unprofessional to the point I hung up on him. There was never any dispute that shoes were faulty. I felt bullied and had no other option but to wait for shoes to arrive. The manager Michael has no integrity or any clue about customer relations. I have read a previous bad review for similar abusive behaviour and I expect I will get the same vitriolic response from him. Buy online from another store. .
