   Would not take my money!! I am very disappointed! I thought that Annah Stretton was going to be the answer to my gift dilemma. However when I went to pay in cash the very nice lady said “Sorry we don’t take cash payments because our bank does not accept cash” So for those folks without bank accounts, smartphones, or credit/debit cards like some elderly, low-income, people you will need to shop elsewhere. A perfect example of why cash is important…this morning I was at the Warehouse during a power cut and those with cash were able to complete their purchases. Annah Stetton Hamilton, please consider finding a bank that is not trying to force digital dependency on people!

   I went to the Hamilton store today 11.11.2025 I got there at 4:45pm I checked the time of closing 5pm. I was really disappointed I raced from work thinking it would be still open. Thanks

   Went to the Hamilton Store today and was very impressed with the service provided by the lovely staff member. From the moment we walked in the door and I told her what we were after she was attentitive and her whole divided attention was on my daughter n law . This wonderful lady is amazing and very careing.

   I visited today with my Assistance Dog puppy in training - we were very welcome, and was immediately struck by the beautiful way the store has been set up. It is eye catching, with all products well displayed without being all on top of each other. The cozy seats and welcome rugs are a nice homely touch, and my pup enjoyed a snooze while I shopped. I met the lovely assistant there Kersti, who tells me she had just started there and was so enjoying her role. Kersti let me browse with no pressure, and I chose some wraps, which I will wear as scarves on my upcoming Christmas trip to the UK, some beautiful trousers - now I never wear trousers, I’m usually in running leggings, and Kersti took me out of my XL, my usual go to to a Medium!! I bought a new sunglass case and a few other bits I “needed”!! This store is well situated with easy access from Centre Place. I will be back to finish refurnishing my bedroom with cushions, and maybe a couple of treats for my trip. Many thanks Kersti, you were so warm and welcoming to Ruby and I.

   Visited with a friend whilst staying in Hamilton. I do love the brand and have many pieces in my wardrobe. Hamilton branch is a big bright shop that is well stocked but what made the experience awesome was the fabulous service from Ali who was working that particular day. I tried on many many items bought half a dozen. Ali also arranged a jacket from another branch to be sent to me and was very helpful, friendly but not in your face or pushy. Absolute pleasure shopping there because of Ali.

   I went to Annah Stretton Hamilton and tried some dresses and they didn't fit me and I said "I don't want to buy them" and the lady whose name is Jo who has black curly hair and who is very tall told me the alteration is free because they have alteration seamstresses and I purchased one of the dresses and I said I am going to Christchurch and she told me the alteration seamstress's phone number and I went to the Christchurch branch and met the seamstress whose name is Sonya and Sonya did alteration and she asked me to pay 50 dollars. Since Jo told me it's free and I was really surprised. Sonya didn't tell me that she is going to charge me until I received the dress! If she told me she would charge me 50 dollars, I didn't ask her to do alteration and I would have brought it to another seamstress. Sonya said if I don't pay she will take a legal action and I had to pay 50 dollars. I called Jo and she said she didn't say it's free and she is a liar. If it's not free I didn't buy the expensive dress. The dress was about 160 dollars and alteration was 50 dollar. Would you buy a dress if 1/4 was of your money is spent on alteration? I will never buy any clothes anymore in this store or in Christchurch. If their attitude was good I would have bought many though. I feel I am robbed.

   I shopped in the Hamilton store last week. The staff member was so helpful and even offered to make a small adjustment to a dress I tried on. She was the perfect mix of helpful and attentive without being pushy. I'm very happy with my purchase.

   Bloody loved the help I got today. It’s the first time I’ve shopped at Annah S. Apart from absolutely loving my dress, the retail assistant was sooooo helpful, kind and attentive but not pushy. I can’t wait to come back. You guys are awesome! And I feel like a sexy goddess!
