From the moment you walk in the door you feel the old school vibe. The shop hosts an array of manly memorabilia strewn around the walls and boasts 3 classic barber chairs, a Koken, a Belmont and a 100 year old wooden beauty in the corner. Jim is down to earth and a great barber without the fancy price tag. Being a barber myself I would like to hope that my recommendation holds a little bit of weight.
I dropped in after reading some reviews from previous clients, wanting to find a local Barbour who's decent, Jim did not disappoint! It's definitely one of the best cuts I've had in chch. Super clean and tight cut, exactly what I requested. Jim's a real relatable guy who's friendly and welcoming, has a sweet shop, and is on competitive pricing. I'm definitely returning.
