My friend when into repco today to get a top of her oil and a change of her window wipers and came home raving about the incredible service! She was served by a young gentleman unsure of his name but he was super helpful, quick, easy, not pushy with sales, and helped her sort out what she needed!
I was blessed greatly today at Repcos Hornby by staff member Stuart. He was not only helpful, he was caring. In today's world, integrity, kindness and chivalry are refreshing traits. Thank you Repco Hornby and staff, and special and grateful shout out to Stuart. He gave me advice that was a true blessing.
Love this place - the biggest reason I return is because of customer care. Oh yeah, you have product, but so do the opposition. What stands out is the personality of good old kiwi humour and customer service from the guys on the floor. So important in the retail world of instant everything. Keep up the banter lads.
The staff member Steward, was really helpful. He looked up the right type of engine oil for me and when he realised I didn't know how to top up the oil, he offered to do it for me without me even asking. Highly recommended this Repco store in Hornby!
Blame customer for failed product (even though there is no evidence as such), and refuse to honour their own 90 day returns policy. While they repaired the failed product it is clear that it is not suitable for the intender purpose the customer came in with when Repco sold the product to them. Apparently returning the product to the customer to go out and have it fail on their vehicle again is meeting CGA obligations. Poor quality, overpriced products with even worse customer service.
Repco Hornby and their team, have assisted me, as a humble car owner rather an enthusiast, on numerous occasions over the past 3 years. On each occasion, despite always clearly busy, via phone or in person, my query has been met with 100% positive, professional, friendly and helpful enthusiasm. The team have had the good sense to not try to upsell unsolicited products to me, but if I asked for options, they provided explanations of advantages of various products. They have not failed me, by selling me the wrong product or more than required, nor made me feel like a time waster if time has been spent sourcing parts, which have not been required due to a change of repair strategy. I trust them as a result, should recommendations be made for products I may not have previously considered. I really appreciated that in particular. Thank you, team Repco Hornby.

The new gasket they gave me made me Hornby, but they couldn't figure out why my petrol kept running out. I'm disappointed as I keep needing to pay for petrol! There must be a leak!
Very helpful staff, delt with Robert in particular. Was on his A-game and was quick to sort me out with the particular part I was after. Definitely lucky to have such a lad. Great prices, definitely will be back.
