I took my car here for a Wolf and a service today and the staff were phenomenal. There was clear communication regarding when it would be ready to be picked up and they did a great job fixing the car at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
AA Service Officer Dave (JOB A54703444) I assume Hornby is his base. Anyway, what can I say. He was so knowledgeable about car batteries. He was so good at finding the fault and giving me a better understanding of what may be going on with my Alfa Romeo. Very warm and friendly, he reminded me much of my grandfather (not that Dave is that old lol) and happy to spend on knowledge when someone is there to listen. Dave has been on the job for nearly 40 years and he's Gold if he arrives at your car for a needed jump-start and a diagnosis of what may be happening. Keep him on for as long as you can, because there will be no one else like him compared to the ones i have had as an AA Member for 28 years. Cheers Dave!
Got recommended to take my car here by the AA roadside assistance as it broke down when I was in a rush. The service provided by the AA garage as well as the road side assist was amazing and extremely helpful was able to get back on the road in a couple of hours. Highly recommend!!
The lady at the reception is so amazing. Everything else is questionable. Was waiting there for 2 hours to get the car rechecked. A guy came up saying that he needs to go to Nelson so if he can get his car rechecked quickly. He was in another queue, his car got taken for inspection despite lot of people waiting for their turn. Would I give one star for slight inconvenience? No, the reason is, I spoke the owner of the car he mentioned he’s got repair worth $1500 and he just clean the lights and small repair ($120 was his bill) and he got inspection passed. Amazing! Brought the car in for a warrant of fitness check and they were fast, thorough, and courteous.
Went in for a new tyre. Super quick and easy change. Staff were friendly and pricing was reasonable
Great, friendly service, and fair pricing. Courtesy car available. I had oil & filters changed, 2 new oxygen sensors, 2 new tyres, and a wheel alignment done. Easy as! Service manager Hamish was very accommodating and easy to deal with.
3 times i took my car in within the space of 2 months. Its was as if they didn't know what to do. They ended up removing the thermostat instead of replacing it now my car doesn't have a thermostat. A bit dodgy and dangerous and 2k-3k is what they recommended to fix the problem. I would never ever ever go their again.
