(Karen alert!) Had some nice items but the staff was very rude when I asked them a simple question and me feel ashamed about what I wanted to buy
Today is the last time I will check out this shop. I love thrifting and enjoy the banter with the staff in the shops but have found this one shop always grossly overpriced and the staff either completely dismissive or downright rude. I think they forget the purpose of the store and receive a D- from me.
Went in found a scarf , crusaders ones. Sign clearly said $3 unless tagged. Was no tag on it all. Lady said it was on a mannequin. It wasn’t, it is in different area with rest of $3 scarfs . Then charged $6. Disgusting attitude from staff member. As though I was doing something wrong. I encourage them to check the cameras if they have any.

Price is good. And volunteers here are so friendly and nice. Got a warm greeting from a lady at the counter today. It’s so precious for a traveler abroad. Thank you so much!
Normally lovely staff and great bargains. Today I was accused of lying by a staff member. She said I took a pair of little girls shorts 50c from an adults section of the shop $3. They were tiny and would not have fit on my arm. I didn't buy anything from them and won't be back.
The best store of resale clothing in Christchurch.. can't believe I've got two new pairs of jeans for only a few pennies compared to other secondhand retailer stores when I was prepared to spend way over $70 for each pair.
nice shop nice staff they are helpful and friendly and have some unusual goods they close at 4pm
