No job too small for these legends, I came in with a basic solid wood bench top purchased down the road at Bunnings Warehouse for a home DIY project. They were easy to deal with, the turn around was very fast, they cut it to size and I picked up the next day! Great price too which they quoted me when I phoned in. Pay online before pick up. This was our first time using CutShop Mt. Wellington and we would highly recommend their services to others. Working with Karl was great. Their product quality is excellent and the end result is exactly what we had envisioned. My husband says it’s a shame that its going to be covered with doors ;) We wanted to add an overflow wardrobe into a niche above a retaining wall. There are existing structural posts which had to be designed around and the installation of the units had to be sequenced in a particular way and tolerances were tight. To add more complexity, I also wanted all of the fixings hidden. Karl worked with us to meet these requirements. We submitted our design to Karl who then did the programming and provided us with shop drawings. Being able to review and approve shop drawings is great and offers peace of mind to someone, like me, who likes to oversee every detail. I had initially wanted ply sheets with exposed edges for the open shelves & drawer units, but the cost was prohibitive. Simon’s suggestion of using a ply edge tape on an MDF panel was perfect and the same aesthetic was achieved but at a fraction of the cost. Their pricing is reasonable and clear, so there are no hidden surprises. It also made things easy that they could supply other elements - drawer runners (BLUM - with the soft close, which are fantastic), shelf pegs and hanging rails. All of the fixings are included (Wedge Cams, dowels, screws) and it was very straightforward to put the units together. We are in the architecture industry and have recommended CutShop to colleagues and builders. Thanks again Karl and Simon from happy customers.
The people at Cutshop have just made my coaching office all the more functional and stylish. I had an idea and they made it happen. This is the best way to create something custom made. Cutshop created 2x toddler beds for my kids, the process was simple, I sent images, they created a design and ordered the material and created the beds. The teams are fantastic and helpful.
