   Blanko Wellington Tawa: I’m really disappointed with my recent experience here. I booked in advance to get both my lashes and brows done with Amarni, as I was leaving for my wedding on Sunday and needed everything done on the Friday. I had also been communicating with someone over email about my appointment and how I wanted a specific lash set for my wedding which they said that would be no problem. When I arrived, Amarni wasn’t there and I was told someone else would be doing the service. Then I was told they didn’t even have the product for lashes, so they couldn’t do them at all. I had already paid a deposit, and this was an important appointment before my wedding. I was just told I could come in next week, which obviously wasn’t possible. I did end up getting my brows done and they turned out good, but the overall experience was really disappointing. I also had a second pre-booked appointment for a lip blush top-up. It was originally scheduled for 1:30pm, but two days before I received an email saying it had been moved to 2:30pm, with no call or message to check if that was okay. When I arrived for the new time, the worker was still with another client. I was sat with numbing cream on for a full hour before the session even started at 3:30pm. By then, the numbing had worn off and had to be reapplied. Thankfully I didn’t have other commitments that day, because it would’ve completely messed up my plans. Overall, the lack of communication, organisation, and consideration for timing especially for appointments I had paid deposits for was really disappointing, especially so close to my wedding.

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been wanting to go to Blanko’s for YEARS and I finally went — I honestly don’t know why I waited so long! Lani was an absolute superstar. She was so kind, took her time, and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. My eyebrows have never looked better! The space itself is super cute and trendy — such a vibe. I’ll 100% be going back. If you’re thinking about booking, this is your sign — do it!!!!!

   Blankos is amazing, I had my first ever lip filler treatment today with jade and a lip flip and I'm in love. Saying jade is amazing at what she does is an understatement and she has an exceptional eye for detail. As a first time client she made me feel so at ease and was so patient as I had my girl with me. I will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone else xxx

   The best in the beauty game! I’d never had eyelash extensions before and Blanko was my first experience. The moment you walk in the team greet you! This was so huge for me because I get nervous in new surroundings! So I felt really comfortable straight off the bat. I now get my lashes done by Lily and she is so amazing at what she does! She talked me through everything and both share a little bit about our personal lives! Every time I go to Lily I always leave feeling so good and so pretty. I’ve recommended Blanko to all my friends and they also love it there!!! The best team in NZ!

   The best choice I ever made was switching lash technicians to lilly!! She is so good at what she does, I loved that she asked me what sort of style I wanted what I didn’t like and the end result was beyond amazing! The best lashes I have ever had. The studio is so aesthetically pleasing, the women (staff) are all so welcoming and kind.
