   I recently moved to a new neighborhood and, unfortunately, had to transfer my children to a different childcare. It’s been an emotional change for all of us because this place was truly wonderful. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and caring, and my kids became very attached to the kaiakos and the beautiful environment they created. The outdoor space is amazing — full of green, perfect for children to play, explore, and learn. We’ll miss it deeply. I highly recommend this childcare to any family looking for a warm, nurturing, and inspiring place for their little ones!

   Piccolo Park has been the bestest daycare I've picked for my little one who has been here since turning 3 she is now almost 5! The environment is calm, relaxing and it's safe & secure.    My child started attending Piccolo Park Daycare Center around mid-January this year. As a parent, I was initially very concerned about the transition period, but the center’s manager, Zoe, and the teachers in Wai One classroom—especially Neesha and Katrina—handled the initial visits with great patience and flexibility. As a result, my child was able to quickly adapt to the new environment and begin learning new things. I really love the environment here. The center is housed in a historic homestead, so the outdoor area features many fruit trees, a vegetable garden, an outdoor play area, and a sandpit. The indoor classrooms are spacious and bright, with lots of toys for the children to play with. The teachers at the center regularly organize different activities for the children, such as dressing up as a favorite character during Book Week, and special events for Mother’s Day. Children here get to experience a rich and diverse culture. Finally, I want to thank all the teachers for their patience and dedication. I highly recommend Piccolo Park to other parents.

   Our daughter has attended Piccolo park for some years now and is about to head to primary school. We would and do recommend piccolo park as safe and trustworthy centre with excellent E.C.Educators. The outstanding cultural sensitivity/inclusivity and general respect for others deserves special mention.

   Piccolo Park has been so great to my daughter who has been going there now for almost 2 years. The teachers are so lovely and very personable when they talk about my daughter it clearly shows how much attention they give to each child it is very lovely as a parent to see that your child is well looked after and cared for. Even as a parent they make us feel very welcome and keep us involved in all the amazing activities and transitions our kids go through. My daughter now asks to go to Daycare which shows how much she feels comfortable and safe there. Will definitely be sending our baby there when the time comes :) Thank you for all the amazing work you do there team we really appreciate you all!

   Absolutely fabulous centre for my two boys. Large and safe indoor and outdoor areas for kids to play. Friendly owner with numbers passionate teachers who come from different cultural backgrounds...gives my kids massive support through their learning journey...highly recommend 5 stars.

   From the moment we walked in the door 3 years ago we felt warming welcomed to the centre. Our initial meetings with the team were something I will never forget. When they remember my daughters name when we went for an impromptu visit after our first meeting I knew we had found somewhere special. The teachers and staff at Piccolo have shown nothing but love and care for my daughter in the three years she has been enrolled and now to our latest addition who started in the babies room just last month. Transitioning back to work after having a baby isn’t easy but it was certainly made much easier with the support and care that piccolo have provided us. I cannot speak highly enough for the wonderful people that make Piccolo the place it is today. My daughters both love their teachers and the wonderful bonds they have with them and that is so special to me. The wonderful staff care very deeply about the children and their whanau and I am proud to be a Piccolo parent. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always keeping my girls safe, loved and nourished.

   Probably the worst childcare I visited out of the 120 I visited in the last few months. The lady who took us for the tour did not make us feel comfortable in fact when asking questions about their facility, she would giggle and answer them in a way that seemed slightly annoyed even though we called to make this time to come in. One answer she gave us about ‘visiting the facility to check on our child’ left us really upset as she proceeded to explain ‘if you make the child upset, you will not be allowed’ and that we had to ‘trust’ them as it is not ‘respectful’ to do otherwise. She then continued to say ‘this is not a place for you’ multiple times and once I discussed this ‘trust’ she mentioned, it was completely gaslighted by saying ‘that is not what I meant’. I felt like balling my eyes out as I had never been to a centre that made you feel as though, you were not welcome to see your child when it was stated on their and if there was an issue, we would be ridiculed for even taking a caring approach. I am very involved with my children and the idea of feeling like this centre would not allow us to build that relationship has left me shocked. I am beyond sad but I must say the beautiful teachers that graced me and my children, thank you. We noticed your warmth.
