Massaman Curry is too simple tastes home cooked but not in a good way. Cheap, thin pork used, exactly five pieces; a bit watery, potatoes and onions. Nothing impressive. Pad Thai slightly better but nothing to write home about. Staff were nice though.
The most flavourful pad thai Ive ever had, with really generous portion and they DID NOT skimp on the prawns! The price is soo good and service is efficient and so welcoming. Would definitely come back.
Some of the best Thai I’ve ever eaten. Definitely would recommend Moodie Foodie when looking to for somewhere to eat in New Market. The Massaman curry is spectacular.
This place looks strange, but the food is great. We did take aways. It was really delicious and not overly priced. I think they need to put images up of their dishes on the tv screens to advertise their offerings better, after all people eat with their eyes :) I think their name should be FOODIE THAI, and drop the Moodie part. We hope they do well, as their food is excellent. Best of luck.
Nice, new takeaway restaurant. The ordering system is unique in that you order through the self-service kiosk, and your food magically appears in one of the boxes.
The loveliest people run Moodie Foodie. They do a really good lunch deal too so they have become my daily go to. It’s not a sit down place, but being close to my work that doesn’t matter for me. There are seats so you probably could sit if you wanted to. 10/10 would recommend for a cheap and tasty lunch (good portions too!) It would be nice to see more sustainable packaging options, but I can’t fault the food or service at all. Good music and vibes while you wait for your food, though the wait is never long!
This is my new go to for yummy Thai takeaway. Generous portions and great flavours. Highly recommend the homemade curry puffs. Best I’ve ever had!
Great new place for Thai food. Not your traditional ordering as there is no one when you enter. Just self order and pick up from the pick up slot. See pics. I got the fried rice which was very yummy, full of flavour and good portion. The menu looks like it's discounted as they are a new establishment so don't know how long the low prices will last. Got the stir fried beef as well but doesn't come with rice which was a let down. You have to order rice separately. Was absolutely yummy though.
