   30 years ago when Panmure was a very nice shopping area, The Coffee lounges had real food, home cooking, we would visit the one down a lane, not far from Unichem pharmacy,the perculated coffee, wafting into your nostrils the lights low and inviting, They were quiet places, The gift shop with silver , trays and crystal bowls twinkled while stockings lady's in black dresses politely asked Can I help? (Stevens) Estelle Rose, dress shops to die for. Sadly, we, the people, got drafted into a give me give give me weekly pensions. What good did it do. Dependency on powerful people, no real say.

   What a pleasure when people love their jobs and give great service. Pharmacist and sales staff were such a delight. They acknowledged me and made me feel like a valued customer. I picked up a script and purchased slippers that were on display. I asked if I could leave the box and stuffing and it was not a problem at all. Not sure why I have never shopped here before seeing that it is in my neighbourhood.

   Don't go here for a passport photo. Camera has a funny lens or setting that makes your face look like it's in a dome. When I queried the woman was very defensive saying all passport photos look like this. Have since had a much better photo taken at life pharmacy sylvia park
