I should have asked more questions regarding their Treadmill ifit 5000. I wouldn't recommend buying this treadmill. It is not practical at all. Top end of belt where you can see pointed part gets in the way when you run and walk continuously hitting. Over time it wouldn't be good for your Achilles machine is permanently tilted upwards. When I queried if still within returning time frame customer service was not pleasant at all, blunt and rude.
I’ve dealt with Fitness World for a number of years and I have found Tim and the team very good to deal with. Recently I had an issue with my elliptical, which I use daily, and was over two years old and out of warranty. But FW diagnosed and refreshed my machine anyway. The fault was purely because, as Tim says, I’m a heavy user and bushes etc will start to ware. I’ve tried other machines from different companies over the years and for sure, Fitness World have the best value for money ellipticals!
Called in to pick up some plates as the prices were great compared to other sellers. Staff were friendly and helpful, they collected my plates quickly and I'm very happy with the quality. They will be my go-to for fitness equipment now, no idea how they are able to price so competitively.
I'm not surprised at the number of negative reviews on service! The guy who picked up the phone couldn't wait to hang up on.me! Was completely unhelpful with not an ounce of customer service skills. I was absolutely ready to buy but he just hung up on me. Guess I won't be buying off these guys Update: so this is where it gets really weird! The guy reads this review and instead of acknowledging the poor service and offering to make restitution here he sends me a nasty text! Beware of this type of behavior.

Purchased an exercise bike 18/2/23 at the showroom. Poor customer service. Staff person Didn't leave their desk to show me any thing abt the bike and it's functions, or take it to the car.
Asked for part payment of a product and then when it arrived a month late and we said it was too late, and our circumstances had changed. They refused to return our money saying it was a "deposit." I have just lodged a claim with the court. Lisa (sales) sent rude emails to my wife and I. I would steer well clear of this business. They have no idea how to treat customers!
I purchased the Aero spin 3000, it arrived within 2 days, and was fantastic. I then tried to change the pedals, this didn't work out so well and I asked the team at Fitness World what could have gone wrong, they said drop it in and we'll fix it for you, they did this and had it ready the same day, I offered to pay they declined even though it was my mistake. great team, great service and quality equipment.
