   I’m a local and got profiled as a tourist the other day when I dressed nice for dinner, they tried to charge me $17 for a pre-loaded hop card (just randomly extra on that day just cause), she just looked at me then decided this is the price today- this is illegal and not how we work on Waiheke Island. Be careful, know your rights as a consumer, AT advertises this location as selling pre loaded hop cards for $15. That’s their legal obligation to sell it at their price, but I will boycott the store altogether from now on. Super cheeky, super greedy, not cool. I sought advice before posting this as I love my community, but this was really disappointing.
