Unreliable product. Bought on 27/10/2026 and device stopped working after 7 days. Would need a week to 2 weeks to repair? Won't recommend anyone to buy the product
I regret purchasing a massage chair from Osim. In hindsight, I should have walked away. When I voiced concerns of my back injury in-store, the salesperson insisted I had to purchase immediately or lose the offered discounts. That pressure left me feeling I had no real choice. Within hours of the purchase, my doctor confirmed the chair was unsuitable and potentially harmful for me. The chair has never been delivered and never been used. I returned to the store less than 24 hours of the original purchase to cancel the sale. Osim has refused to cancel or refund, hiding behind a “no change-of-mind” policy instead of acknowledging that the product is not fit for purpose in my case. This is not “change of mind” — it is a clear case of hard-sell tactics, coercion, and disregard for consumer rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. To make matters worse, I attempted to resolve this by visiting the store and calling customer service. I was turned away in person and even denied the chance to speak to a manager over the phone. Osim has shown zero compassion, integrity, or responsibility, focusing only on extracting a sale at any cost. Their behaviour demonstrates a blatant lack of customer care and respect for New Zealand consumers. While I allowed myself to feel pressured into the sale, I also expect a company to show integrity and compassion, especially where health is involved. Sadly, my experience with Osim has been the opposite. If you value your health, money, or basic fair treatment, stay far away from this company.

She was incredibly patient, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The chair itself is fantastic—very comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend both the product and Catherine’s top-notch support!
Alan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the massage chair and allowed my mother to try the item out for 15-30mins. He was very patient and answered all our questions - we were very satisfied with the service and went ahead and made the purchase. Walking out a happy customer :)
Really bad experience, I spent about $500 at their St Luke's store when it was still open there but when I went to the Sylvia Park store the lady there repeatedly asked me if I was going to buy when I have literally just started looking. Then their manager was called and he told me that I can only look at their products if I had an appointment?? Profiling at its finest. I have been bitter against Osim since that experience and have never considered their products again after their disgusting treatment.
Osim were great to deal with and my Massage Chair arrived within a couple of weeks after ordering it. The people who delivered it, unpacked it where we wanted it, and then took away the excess packaging materials. Excellent service which was much appreciated. BY 30/06/2022
