   I had a really unpleasant experience with this Chinese lady staff at this store. She was extremely rude, reaching over the counter and aggressively banging on the products while scanning them. I felt disrespected and uncomfortable. When I asked her why she was being rude, she denied it completely, which only made the situation worse. I really liked the shop and the products are amazing, but I don’t feel comfortable going back knowing I could be served by this lady again.

   Great selection of Japanese foods and products! I bought some green tea, desserts and frozen items, everything was absolutely delicious. It really feels like being in Japan .

   Everything was wildly overpriced—but of course, I still bought stuff because why not? Spent over $100, and the first lady even bagged it all up for me, like we were done. I was literally about to walk out, but then another staff member starts speaking to her in a language I didn’t understand. Next thing I know, she rushes over to tell me they forgot to add 50 cents to the bill. I guess the $100+ I just spent wasn’t nearly as important as that missing ¢50, I will miss you and wont ever go there again, i was planning a japan theme party and about to ask my friends to go grab ur stuff from your shop.. not any more

   Well you could never start a New Zealand business in Japan so as a born New Zealander, you're welcome for your business and being able to operate in this country as kiwis even if Kiwis will never recieve love in Japan

   Japan Mart Sylvia Park is our goto shop for our monthly Japanese shop. Always packed with all your basic needs and sometimes a surprise of a new product you didn't know you needed. Frozen meat and products direct from Japan are always presented neatly. Would recommend it for anyone who's on the hunt for a fix of Japanese confectionery or a pantry refill.

   It's OK, service was OK. Not particular friendly, no smiles no greetings. To be honest, being a regular shoppers for Japanese goods, we get way better and Consistent services at both Daiso Stores in CBD and St Lukes Mall. Both staff at this Japan Mart Sylvia Park store at the counter looked tired and overworked and this was only 1030am on a weekday morning. Kmaybe it's Xams rush but is that an excuse? (You can decide on that)..Shop is tidy and clean. Prices are not the cheapest around but all items are from Japan and they carry certain lines of snacks you can only buy here at Japan Mart. You can buy some of similar snacks but Korean ones, cheaper at Pak and Sav or New World. Plenty parking around the corner but getting in and out of Sylvia Park can take up to 30min during peak hours so allow plenty time. Recommending a visit as parking is definitely easier than Newmarket Store.
